Day 1 Arrive in Cairo, Egypt

Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will meet and assist by our representative of “Egypt Best Vacations” who will help you through the arrival and visa regulations. Transfer to your hotel for free time and the beginning of your 20 day Egypt tour.

Your actual 20 day Egypt vacation package begins when our professional tour guide picks you up from your hotel to commence your tour to the Great Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx and the GEM Museum.

Today, you will explore the Giza Plateau. Today’s tour includes the Great Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure with the great Sphinx. The only ancient wonder which still exists (Khufu’s pyramid) awaits you. Are you ready to explore it from the inside? (Optional). Today you will learn about the history of the pyramids, how they were built, and why they were built. 

Savor your lunch at a local restaurant, then proceed to the Grand Egyptian Museum. Explore the world’s largest collection of ancient Egyptian treasures in one stunning modern complex. Day 3Coptic Cairo, Saladin Citadel and Khan El-Khalili Tour

Following your breakfast at the hotel, you will visit the Citadel of Saladin, which was built in 1172 to protect Cairo from the Crusaders. At the citadel, you can visit the White Mosque of Mohammed Ali Pasha, which is one of its most prominent features. Continue to Coptic Cairo District to visit the Hanging Church. The Hanging Church is one of the oldest and most famous Christian churches in Egypt. It is admired for its beautiful wooden ceiling, historic icons, and deep connection to Egypt’s Coptic heritage.

Continue to Abu Serga Church. The Church of Abu Serga, also known as Saints Sergius and Bacchus Church. It is especially revered because tradition says the Holy Family stayed in a cave beneath the church during their journey in Egypt. End your Coptic Cairo tour at Ben Ezra Synagogue. The Ben Ezra Synagogue is one of the oldest and most famous Jewish landmarks in Old Cairo. It is known for its rich history and for the discovery of the Cairo Geniza, a remarkable collection of ancient Jewish manuscripts.

Day 4Cairo - Alexandria

Today, your 20 day Egypt travel package takes you to the beautiful City of Alexandria. Upon arrival visit the famous Roman Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa. The catacombs are huge Egyptian tombs and royal cemeteries with Ptolemaic and Roman influences. The catacombs of Kom El-Shoqafa are one the largest Roman burial sites not just in Alexandria but in Egypt. These catacombs started as a private tomb for a wealthy family, then became a public cemetery. The catacombs house more than 300 tombs.

From the catacombs to the Pompey’s Pillar. Many of the ancient historians did not tell us more details about the “Pompey’s Pillar” but about the buildings that stood nearby and have disappeared now. The hill on which the pillar is erected was covered with temples and houses a long time before the Roman era. It was the place of the Citadel of Rhakotis. A temple was dedicated to Osiris-Serapis was built on the mountain. Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant, then check into your hotel and free evening in Alexandria.

Day 5Alexandria - Cairo

Breakfast at the hotel then visit the Citadel of Qaitbay. The Citadel of Qaitbay in Alexandria is one of the most important fortifications in Egypt. It was constructed by Sultan Al-Ashraf Qaitbay to defend Egypt against the Ottomans/Turks. Then to the Library of Alexandria. The Library of Alexandria is a great library and culture center, not only in Alexandria but on the Mediterranean coast and the whole world. You will end your tour at the Roman Amphitheatre of Kom El-Dekka. The Roman Amphitheatre in Alexandria is one of the great highlights of the beautiful city of Alexandria. The Amphitheaters were not just popular in Egypt, they were popular in other countries as Italy, Greece, Jordan and Turkey. Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant, then travel back to Cairo.

Day 6Saqqara, Memphis and Dahshur Tour

Day 7Fly to Abu Simbel - Lake Nasser cruise Holiday

A fabulous Lake Nasser cruise holiday awaits! You’re going to spend the next four days of your 20 day Egypt holiday package on board a Lake Nasser cruise. So, enjoy your breakfast at the hotel or breakfast box, then transfer to Cairo Airport to fly to Abu Simbel to begin your 3-night Lake Nasser cruise from Abu Simbel to Aswan.

Arrival at Abu Simbel airport. Meet and assist by our representative of “Egypt Best Vacations”. Transfer to your cruise. Have lunch on board. Visit the phenomenal Temples of Ramses and Nefertari at Abu Simbel. The temples of Abu Simbel are considered among the most celebrated achievements of ancient Egypt. The two temples were cut in the cliffs about 310 Km south of Aswan. The Great Temple was built for Ramses II (1279-1213 BC), while the Small Temple was built for his beloved wife, Queen Nefertari. Because of the rising water of Aswan High Dam, the temples had to be saved and rescued in a magnificent world rescue operation of temples in Lower Nubia.

Day 8Qasr Ebrim - Amada

Your Lake Nasser cruise ship will set sail from Abu Simbel to Qasr Ebrim, which you will view from the top deck. The only Nubian monument visible on its original site, Qasr Ebrim once sat on top of a 70m-high cliff, about 60km north of Abu Simbel, but now has water lapping at its edges. Then, set sail to Amada to overnight there.

Day 9Wadi Es-Seboua - Dakka

Today at Amada, you will visit the Temple of Amada. Amada Temple was built during the 18th Dynasty (c. 1550–1295 BC) in the New Kingdom, the temple of Amada is one of the oldest of the ancient Egyptian monuments lying along the shores of Lake Nasser. The reliefs and inscriptions of the temple are very well preserved because they were covered with a layer of plaster when it was converted into a church. You will also visit the Tomb of the Viceroy of Nubia, Pennut. Then, your Lake Nasser cruise ship will set sail to Wadi Es-Seboua. Here you are visiting the Temple of Wadi Es-Seboua, the Temple of Dakka, and the Temple of Maharaqa. Then set sail to Aswan for overnight.

Day 10New Kalabsha Area - Nile River cruise Vacation

Disembarkation, followed by visiting the New Kalabsha area which includes the Temple of Kalabsha, the Temple of Beit El-Wali, and the Kiosk of Kertassi. This Temple of Kalabsha is the largest free-standing temple in Lower Nubia. It was built during the reign of Augustus (30 BC–14 AD), the first Roman emperor. Primarily dedicated to the Nubian god Mandulis, the gods Isis and her husband Osiris were worshipped here too.

Day 11Aswan Tour - Kom Ombo - Edfu

Explore the wonders of the beautiful City of Aswan. Visit the High Dam, a great engineering feat of 1960s, to generate electricity and to stop floods. Then proceed to the beautiful Temple of Philae. This temple was built during the Greco-Roman era and dedicated to Isis, goddess of Magic and Love in ancient Egypt. End your tour at the granite quarry of the Unfinished Obelisk. Set sail to Kom Ombo. Disembark at Kom Ombo to visit the twin Temple of gods Horus, and Sobek. Enjoy a short visit to the Crocodile Museum before you go back to your Nile cruise ship to set sail to Edfu. Overnight in Edfu.

Day 12Edfu - Esna - Luxor East Bank Tour

Before breakfast, you will take a horse and carriage to the Temple of Horus in Edfu. This temple is the most intact temple in Egypt and it was built during the Greco-Roman period. The Temple of Edfu is fully inscribed with reliefs and hieroglyphs on its exterior and interior walls. Visiting Edfu Temple adds a great value to your Egypt tour package 20 days. Take your carriage back to your cruise ship to set sail to Luxor via the Lock of Esna.

Upon arrival in Luxor, you will visit the Temple of Karnak. It is the largest temple in Egypt. Its vast halls, towering columns, and sacred sanctuaries reveal the greatness of Thebes during the New Kingdom. Then, proceed to the majestic Temple of Luxor. Luxor Temple is one of the most beautiful ancient temples in Egypt. Built mainly by Amenhotep III and Ramses II. It was dedicated to the rejuvenation of kingship and the glory of ancient Thebes. Day 13Luxor West Bank Tour - Hurghada

Disembarkation. Visit the impressive Valley of the Kings. The Valley of the Kings is one of the most important highlights not only in Luxor but throughout Egypt. The Ancient Egyptians named it (Ta-Iset-Ma’at), which means “the Place of Truth”. The Valley of the Kings is the necropolis of the great Egyptian pharaohs of the 18th to the 20th Dynasty (1550-1080 BCE). Tuthmosis I was the first pharaoh who was buried at the Valley of the Kings while Ramses XI was the last pharaoh who was buried there. Depart Cairo early in the morning and drive towards the Bahariya Oasis. Enjoy your lunch and be ready to begin your adventure. Take a 4×4 Jeep to visit the Black Desert, then to the Hez Village to enjoy the natural cold springs. Continue driving to the Crystal Mountain, after that you will arrive at Aqabat. Aqabat is one of the most beautiful areas in the White Desert National Park. Then drive to your camping area in the White Desert. Enjoy your dinner and spend your night stargazing.

Day 19Travel back to Cairo

Pricing Policy

All our prices are in USD per person per trip. You can also make your payment online through a secure payment gateway with no additional fees or surcharges. We accept USD, Euros, GBP, CAD, AUD and NZD.

The starting price is for one adult in a twin room on a group tour. It shows the lowest price during the low season. There’s a single supplement for single accommodation.

Tipping

Tipping is not included in our tour packages and is left entirely to your discretion. While it is not mandatory, it is greatly appreciated by the people who assist you during your journey.

Here is a suggested tipping list:

Driver – full day             $3-5 per person per day.

Driver – transfer           $1-3 per person per day.

Tour guide – full day     $15-20 per person per day.

Tour guide – half day    $10-15 per person per day.

Representative / tour leader    $3-5 per person per day.

Nile cruise crew              $5–10 per person per night paid at the end of the cruise.

Dahabiya Nile cruise crew     $10-20 per person per night at the end of the cruise.

Lake Nasser cruise crew              $5–10 per person per night paid at the end of the cruise.

White Desert crew             $5–10 per person per night paid at the end of the safari trip.

Children Policy

  • Children from 0-2 years pay 30% of the adult price.
  • Children from 3-5 years pay 40% of the adult price.
  • Children from 6-11 years pay 50% of the adult price.
  • Children from 12 years pay adult price.

Cancellation Policy

We do not charge cancellation fees for tours canceled due to ‘force majeure’ events such as natural disasters or other uncontrollable circumstances. However, if you cancel for personal or business reasons after we have incurred booking costs on your behalf, these costs will be charged to you.

  • From the date of booking up to 75 days before the date of your arrival, 10% of the total tour price will be charged.
  • Between 74 and 61 days before your arrival date, 25% of the total tour price will be charged.
  • Between 60 and 30 days before your arrival date, 50% of the total tour price will be charged.
  • Between 29 and 15 days before your arrival date, 75% of the total tour price will be charged.
  • Between 14 and 08 days before your arrival date, 90% of the total tour price will be charged.
  • Between 07 and 1 day before your arrival date, 100% of the total tour price will be charged.

Deposit and Payment

A deposit of 25-50% to secure your booking through a payment link. The remaining balance is also will be wired through payment links sent to your email.

Extra Expenses & Additional Entry Tickets

Our tours do not include entrance fees for special archaeological sites such as:

  • Walking inside the pyramids.
  • Tombs of Seti I and Ramses V in the Valley of the Kings
  • Entering the Tomb of Tutankhamun in the Valley of the Kings in Luxor.

These attractions require an additional fee. Please contact us if you would like to add or adjust anything in your itinerary.
