Day 1 Arrive in Cairo, Egypt

Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will meet and assist by our representative of “Egypt Best Vacations” who will help you through the arrival and visa regulations. Transfer to your hotel and the beginning of your 14-day Egypt tour to Cairo, Alexandria, felucca cruise and Hurghada.

Day 2Visit Giza Pyramids, Sphinx and GEM Museum

Your actual Egypt tour begins when our professional tour guide picks you up from your hotel to commence your tour to the Great Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx and the GEM Museum.

Today, you will visit the Giza Plateau. Today’s tour includes the Great Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure with the great Sphinx. The only ancient wonder which still remains (Khufu’s pyramid) awaits you. Are you ready to discover it from the inside? (Optional). Today you will learn about the history of the pyramids, how they were constructed, and why they were constructed. 

Savor your lunch at a local restaurant, then proceed to the Grand Egyptian Museum. Explore the world’s largest collection of ancient Egyptian treasures in one stunning modern complex. You’ll stand face-to-face with the full Tutankhamun collection and enjoy immersive galleries that bring Egypt’s history to life. Then, transfer back to your hotel.

Day 3Explore Alexandria Wonders

Today, your 14-day Egypt itinerary takes you to the beautiful City of Alexandria. Your tour includes the famous Roman Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa. The catacombs are huge Egyptian tombs and royal cemeteries with Ptolemaic and Roman influences. The catacombs of Kom El-Shoqafa are one the largest Roman burial sites not just in Alexandria but in Egypt. These catacombs started as a private tomb for a wealthy family, then became a public cemetery. The catacombs house more than 300 tombs.

From the catacombs to the Pompey’s Pillar. Many of the ancient historians did not tell us more details about the “Pompey’s Pillar” but about the buildings that stood nearby and have disappeared now. The hill on which the pillar is erected was covered with temples and houses a long time before the Roman era. It was the place of the Citadel of Rhakotis. A temple was dedicated to Osiris-Serapis was built on the mountain.

Then, proceed to the Citadel of Qaitbay. The Citadel of Qaitbay in Alexandria is one of the most important fortifications in Egypt. It was constructed by Sultan Al-Ashraf Qaitbay to defend Egypt against the Ottomans/Turks. End your tour in Alexandria with visiting the Library of Alexandria. It stands as a modern tribute to Alexandria’s famous role in the history of learning. Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant, then travel back to Cairo.

Day 4Coptic Cairo, Saladin Citadel and Khan El-Khalili Tour

Enjoy a spiritual day with your Cairo Luxor Aswan Hurghada tour package. Visit the Citadel of Saladin, which was built in 1172 to protect Cairo from the Crusaders. At the citadel, you can visit the White Mosque of Mohammed Ali Pasha, which is one of its most prominent features. Continue to Coptic Cairo District to visit the Hanging Church. The Hanging Church is one of the oldest and most famous Christian churches in Egypt. It is admired for its beautiful wooden ceiling, historic icons, and deep connection to Egypt’s Coptic heritage.

Continue to Abu Serga Church. The Church of Abu Serga, also known as Saints Sergius and Bacchus Church. It is especially revered because tradition says the Holy Family stayed in a cave beneath the church during their journey in Egypt. End your Coptic Cairo tour at Ben Ezra Synagogue. The Ben Ezra Synagogue is one of the oldest and most famous Jewish landmarks in Old Cairo. It is known for its rich history and for the discovery of the Cairo Geniza, a remarkable collection of ancient Jewish manuscripts.

Culminate your day shopping at the Khan El-Khalili bazaar. It is one of Cairo’s most famous historic markets. A vibrant place to experience the city’s traditional atmosphere. It is known for its narrow lanes, colorful shops, handmade souvenirs, spices, jewelry, and lively cafés. Then, transfer to Giza train station to board your sleeper train to Aswan to begin your felucca cruise.

Day 5Aswan Tour - Felucca Nile cruise Adventure

A thrilling felucca cruise adventure awaits! You’re going to spend the next two nights of your 2 week Egypt tour on board a traditional Felucca River cruise. Meet your guide at Aswan Railway to commence your Aswan tour. 

Explore the wonders of the beautiful City of Aswan such as the High Dam, the largest day was built in 1960s. This dam was built to protect Egypt against floods and to generate hydropower. Then, proceed to the beautiful Temple of Isis at Philae Island. Philae Temple was built primarily during the Ptolemaic period and is one of the most incredible temples in Egypt. It was due to the construction of the two dams in Aswan that UNESCO had to relocate the temple. End your Aswan tour at the granite quarry of the Unfinished Obelisk. Learn how the ancient Egyptians fashioned their obelisks and statues of gods and kings. Then, board your Felucca Nile cruise. Enjoy the Nile landscape in Aswan while cruising.

Day 6Daraw Camel Market

Breakfast then set sail from Aswan to Daraw. Visit its famous Camel Market (every Saturday and Sunday). Daraw has one of the largest camel markets in Egypt. Most of the camels come in caravans from Sudan’s Darfur and Kordofan along the Darb Al Arba’een (Forty Days Rd) to just north of Abu Simbel before being trucked to Daraw. It is a picturesque sight and fascinating to see the trading; sometimes there are as many as 2000 camels. Visiting the Camel Market adds a great value to your 2 week Egypt itinerary. Then, set sail from Daraw toward Kom Ombo.

Day 7Disembarkation - Kom Ombo - Edfu - Luxor

Breakfast, then disembarkation. Head to Kom Ombo to visit the twin Temple of Horus and Sobek together with the Crocodile Museum. This temple was built in the Ptolemaic period. Due to the conflict between Sobek and Horus, the ancient Egyptians felt it necessary to separate their temple spaces within one temple. The Kom Ombo Temple has two entrances, courts, colonnades, Hypostyle halls, and sanctuaries, one side for each god.

Venture from Kom Ombo to visit the most intact temple in Egypt, the Temple of Horus in Edfu. Edfu Temple is one of the most striking and complete of ancient Egyptian temples and is dedicated to the worship of the god Horus. Situated on the western bank of the Nile, its construction began during the reign of Ptolemy III (246–221 BC) in 237 BC, but was completed in the reign of Ptolemy XII (80–51 BC) in 57 BC, 180 years later. Savor your lunch at a local restaurant, then, transfer to your hotel in Luxor.

Day 8Visit Kings Valley, Hatshepsut Temple and Colossi of Memnon

Enjoy your breakfast at your hotel, then visit the magnificent Valley of the Kings. Here, the pharaohs of the New Kingdom period were buried trying to be hidden from the Grave Robbers. There’re 65 tombs were discovered till now while Ramses VIII’s tomb is not found yet. Your guide will recommend the best three open tombs to visit. From the Valley of the Kings to the unique Temple of the female pharaoh Hatshepsut, who ruled Egypt for about 20 years as a sole pharaoh. You will end your tour at the Colossi of Memnon, which survived from the Temple of Amenhotep III. Then, transfer back to your hotel.

Pricing Policy

All our prices are in USD per person per trip. You can also make your payment online through a secure payment gateway with no additional fees or surcharges. We accept USD, Euros, GBP, CAD, AUD and NZD.

The starting price is for one adult in a twin room on a group tour. It shows the lowest price during the low season. There’s a single supplement for single accommodation.

Tipping

Tipping is not included in our tour packages and is left entirely to your discretion. While it is not mandatory, it is greatly appreciated by the people who assist you during your journey.

Here is a suggested tipping list:

Driver – full day             $3-5 per person per day.

Driver – transfer           $1-3 per person per day.

Tour guide – full day     $15-20 per person per day.

Tour guide – half day    $10-15 per person per day.

Representative / tour leader    $3-5 per person per day.

Nile cruise crew              $5–10 per person per night paid at the end of the cruise.

Dahabiya Nile cruise crew     $10-20 per person per night at the end of the cruise.

Felucca cruise crew              $3–5 per person per night paid at the end of the cruise.

Children Policy

  • Children from 0-2 years pay 30% of the adult price.
  • Children from 3-5 years pay 40% of the adult price.
  • Children from 6-11 years pay 50% of the adult price.
  • Children from 12 years pay adult price.

Cancellation Policy

We do not charge cancellation fees for tours canceled due to ‘force majeure’ events such as natural disasters or other uncontrollable circumstances. However, if you cancel for personal or business reasons after we have incurred booking costs on your behalf, these costs will be charged to you.

  • From the date of booking up to 75 days before the date of your arrival, 10% of the total tour price will be charged.
  • Between 74 and 61 days before your arrival date, 25% of the total tour price will be charged.
  • Between 60 and 30 days before your arrival date, 50% of the total tour price will be charged.
  • Between 29 and 15 days before your arrival date, 75% of the total tour price will be charged.
  • Between 14 and 08 days before your arrival date, 90% of the total tour price will be charged.
  • Between 07 and 1 day before your arrival date, 100% of the total tour price will be charged.

Deposit and Payment

A deposit of 25-50% to secure your booking through a payment link. The remaining balance is also will be wired through payment links sent to your email.

We don’t provide a travel insurance. We recommend to buy it beforehand if you want

Extra Expenses & Additional Entry Tickets

Our tours do not include entrance fees for special archaeological sites such as:

  • Walking inside the pyramids.
  • Tombs of Seti I and Ramses V in the Valley of the Kings
  • Entering the Tomb of Tutankhamun in the Valley of the Kings in Luxor.

These attractions require an additional fee. Please contact us if you would like to add or adjust anything in your itinerary.

Other personal expenses during your trip may include:
