Day 1 Arrival in Cairo, Egypt

Arrival at Cairo International Airport. Meet and assist by our representative of “Egypt Best Vacations” who will help you through the arrival and visa regulations. Transfer to your hotel and the beginning of your 15-day Egypt Jordan Israel Tour.

Day 2Giza Great Pyramids, Sphinx and Saqqara

Get ready for an incredible journey through ancient Egyptian history! Today we embark on a thrilling adventure to two of Egypt’s most captivating landmarks.

First stop: the awe-inspiring Giza Plateau. Here, you’ll stand in the shadow of the legendary Great Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure. These colossal structures are a testament to the ingenuity and power of ancient Egypt. Prepare to be mesmerized by the enigmatic Sphinx, the guardian who stands watch over these timeless wonders.

Next, we travel to Saqqara, an open-air museum teeming with archaeological treasures. Here, you’ll witness the revolutionary Step Pyramid, a pioneering structure designed by the brilliant architect Imhotep for King Djoser in the 27th century BC. Day 3Fly to Aswan - Aswan Tour - Nile Cruise

Welcome to the captivating city of Aswan! Today, your epic 15-day Egypt, Jordan, and Israel tour turning you to a delightful 3-night Nile cruise sailing from Aswan to Luxor.

As you disembark at Aswan Airport, your friendly guide will be waiting just outside the arrival terminal to greet you and begin your adventure. Get ready to delve into the city’s dazzling highlights!

First up, you’ll explore the awe-inspiring High Dam, a marvel of modern engineering. Then, you’ll journey to the enchanting Philae Island, where the exquisite Temple of Isis awaits. Day 4Aswan - Kom Ombo - Edfu

This morning, the Nile beckons! Relax and soak up the serenity of the river from the deck of your cruise ship, or for those eager for further exploration, join our optional tour to the phenomenal temples of Abu Simbel (additional cost applies). These magnificent rock-cut sanctuaries, built by Pharaoh Ramesses II, are a true wonder of the ancient world.

Later around lunchtime, the Nile cruise sets sail for Kom Ombo. Prepare to be dazzled by the imposing twin Temple of Horus and Sobek, dedicated to these powerful falcon and crocodile deities. After your visit, you’ll continue our journey down the Nile, setting sail for Edfu where you’ll spend the night.

Day 5Edfu - Esna - Luxor

As the morning sun paints the sky, immerse yourself in the vibrant energy of Edfu. The rhythmic clatter of horse carriages fills the air, ready to whisk you away on a magical journey to the Temple of Horus. This magnificent structure, dedicated to the falcon god, is one of the most well-preserved temples in Egypt. Prepare to be awestruck by its towering pylons, intricate hieroglyphs, and captivating halls.

Following your exploration, the Nile cruise embarks on its final leg, sailing towards Luxor. Along the way, you’ll navigate the Esna Lock, a marvel of modern engineering that allows passage between different water levels.

Upon arrival in Luxor, the “City of a Hundred Gates,” prepare to be dazzled by its ancient treasures. You’ll delve into the sprawling Temple of Karnak, a vast complex that served as the religious center of the New Kingdom. Day 6Luxor West Bank - Fly back to Cairo

Your Egyptian adventure culminates in Luxor, a treasure trove of ancient wonders. After disembarking from your Nile cruise, prepare to be captivated by the majesty of the West Bank.

Your first stop is the legendary Valley of the Kings, a necropolis where pharaohs of the New Kingdom were laid to rest in elaborately decorated tombs. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to step back in time and explore these fascinating underground chambers.

Next, you journey to the unique Temple of Hatshepsut, a magnificent structure dedicated by the powerful female pharaoh Hatshepsut. This architectural marvel, nestled against the cliffs, offers breathtaking views and a fascinating glimpse into her reign.

Your final stop is the Colossi of Memnon, two towering statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. These once-vocal giants, shrouded in legend, stand as silent sentinels guarding the entrance to his mortuary temple.

Day 7Egyptian Museum, Saladin Citadel and Khan El-Khalili

Explore the fabulous contents of the historical Egyptian Museum at Tahrir Square in Cairo. Thousands of artifacts from all periods of Egyptian history are displayed on the two floors of the museum.

From the museum to the Citadel of the Sunni Muslim leader Saladin, which was built in 1172 to defend Cairo against the Crusaders. The White Mosque of Mohammed Ali Pasha is a prominent feature of the Citadel. You will finish your tour today at the historical bazaar of Khan El-Khalili, the largest bazaar in the Middle East. 

Day 8Cairo to Amman

Transfer to Cairo Airport for your connection flight to Amman, for the second leg of your 15-day Egypt Jordan Israel tour. You will be met upon arrival at Amman Airport by one of our representatives and transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 9Gadara, Jerash & Ajloun Castle

Today you will commence you tour to the ancient city of Gadara (Umm Qais) boasting spectacular views of the Yarmouk Valley, the Golan Heights, and the Sea of Galilee. Gadara is known for its Roman theatres, fountains, underground water wells and more. The site of Gadara was also an important stop during the Ottoman era and was inhabited by locals until 1989.

You will then visit the ruined city of Jerash, Jordan’s largest and most interesting Roman site. The imposing ceremonial gates, colonnaded avenues, temples and theatres all speak to the time when this was an important imperial center. Finally you will stop to see Ajloun Castle, a superb example of Arab-Islamic military architecture which has stood for centuries retaining significance since the time of the Crusades built originally by Salah al Din in 1184/1185. Overnight in Amman. 

Day 10Bethany, Madaba & Mount Nebo

Your tour today commences with a visit to Bethany, the site of John the Baptist’s settlement at Bethany where Jesus was baptized. The Bethany area sites formed part of the early Christian pilgrimage route between Jerusalem, the Jordan River, and Mount Nebo.

You tour will then visit Saint George’s Church, this 19th-century Greek Orthodox church houses a treasure of early Christianity. Found on this site was a stunning mosaic map, crafted in 560 AD. The map represents the oldest map of Palestine in existence it has 157 captions (in Greek) depicting all the major biblical sites of the Middle East, from Egypt to Palestine. Following this you will visit Mount Nebo where Moses is said to have stood and overlooked the Holy Land and where according to Christian tradition Moses was buried. Overnight in Amman. 

Day 11Lost City of Petra

Today you have a full day exploring Petra known as the Rose Red City. This remarkable city of temples and houses was carved out of the sheer rock some 2,000 years ago by a nomadic people called the Nabataeans. From this stone stronghold, they were able to control the ancient trade routes of Arabia, establishing a kingdom that became known for its exquisite architecture and refined culture. Making your way on foot through a slim fissure in the rock of the ‘Siq’ mountains you will encounter the dramatic treasury plus the Street of Facades, the Court House and the Amphitheatre. If there is time you can even climb the 1,200 steps to the Monastery. Following your tour, you will then be driven back to your hotel in Amman. 

Day 12Jordan to Israel

After checking out of your hotel, you will drive via the border crossing (Allenby Bridge/King Hussein Border) then drive to Jerusalem via the Judean Desert for the final leg of your 15-day Egypt, Jordan and Israel tour. On arrival at the Holy City, you will be driven directly to your hotel for check in.

Day 13Jerusalem and Bethlehem

You tour today will start with a visit to the Mount of Olives before walking the short distance to the Wailing Wall which is one of the holiest sites in Judaism. This is followed by a visit to the Via Dolorosa through the Stations of the Cross, to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre which is believed to be the site where Jesus was crucified and later buried. You will then transfer to Bethlehem the city where Christianity began, and Jesus was born. You will visit the Church of the Nativity and the Grotto of the Manger. Finally, you will transfer back to Jerusalem and your hotel.

Day 14Masada and Dead Sea

Your tour commences today with a journey to Masada where you will take a cable car ride to the top of the mountain to see the remnants of an ancient fortress built by King Herod. After exploring the ruins you will take drive along the shoreline to the Dead Sea lies in the Jordan Valley at the lowest point on earth. It has attracted visitors from around the Mediterranean Basin for thousands of years. As one of the world’s first health resorts Herod the Great was said to have bathed here. Here you can spend your time sunbathing, relaxing and floating in the water before we transfer you back to your hotel.

Day 15End of your 15-day Egypt, Jordan and Israel Holy Land tour

Wrap up your 15-day Egypt, Jordan and Israel Holy Land Tour, following breakfast in the hotel our representative will assist in transferring to the airport for final departure.
