    Fantastic

Great tour. Our guide Essam was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and articulated the tour well. Offering our group good advice on how to customize our tour based on our interests. He was sure to warn us on all potential scams aswell as unnecessary/non affiliated persons. He also went above by making our restaurant reservations for us.

    Lifetime memories made

We enjoyed our Egypt travels through Egypt Best Vacations. Essam is the best tour coordinator and guide one can find! I am so glad we found him because he made our trip memorable in so many ways! He was always able to make the tours fun by telling us stories of the past in engaging ways! He was always helpful and gave us honest guidance regarding all local experiences eg. How to behave with street vendors. You felt you could trust him and rely on him fully through the travel!

Related FAQs About 19 Day Vacation Packages in Egypt

Most Asked Questions about 19 Day Egypt Travel Packages

Is 19 days enough to fully explore Egypt?

Yes. Eighteen nights covers Cairo, Luxor, Aswan, and a Nile or Lake Nasser cruise, plus one further region depending on which of our four 19-day packages you choose — the Red Sea, the White Desert, or Siwa Oasis. You won’t feel rushed at this pace.

What's included in the price?

All four of our 19-day packages include accommodation, domestic flights, transfers, entrance fees per the itinerary, and Egyptologist guiding throughout. Meal plans vary — our All-Inclusive package runs 42 meals across breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Check each package’s own Includes section for its exact plan.

What destinations do these itineraries cover?

Cairo, Luxor, and Aswan appear on all four of our 19-day itineraries. Beyond that they differ by package — see “Which 19-Day Egypt Package Should You Choose?” above for exactly what each one adds.

Is a Nile cruise included?

Two of our four 19-day packages combine a Lake Nasser cruise with a standard Nile cruise between Aswan and Luxor; a third pairs Lake Nasser with a felucca; a fourth uses a private Dahabiya sailing instead. All four put you on the water for part of the trip.

Why choose 19 days instead of a shorter tour?

The extra nights buy you either two cruises instead of one, or a slower way of covering the same ground — a Dahabiya sailing or felucca instead of a standard cruise ship — plus one further region most shorter tours skip: the White Desert or Siwa Oasis.

Can I customize the itinerary?

Yes. Egypt Best Vacations can adjust any of our four 19-day itineraries to add destinations, upgrade accommodation, or build in extra days, based on what you want to see.

Can I book this as a private tour?

Yes. Trips of seven days and over run as small groups of up to 16 by default, but all can be arranged fully private with your own guide and vehicle at a supplement — worth considering on a trip this long, where pace matters more than on a week-long tour.

Are these tours suitable for families?

They can be, but eleven or more days of sightseeing before any beach or desert time is a lot to ask of younger children. Children aged 0-2 pay 30% of the adult price, 3-5 pay 40%, 6-11 pay 50%, and from 12 the adult rate applies.

Can I combine a Nile cruise with a Red Sea holiday?

Yes — three of our four 19-day packages include Red Sea time in Hurghada after their cruise: the All-Inclusive, the Dahabiya tour, and the Siwa Oasis itinerary. It’s one of the most popular combinations we sell.

Is Alexandria worth including?

Definitely — it’s a completely different Egypt: Mediterranean and Greco-Roman rather than pharaonic. Our All-Inclusive and Siwa Oasis packages both include a full day there, with the Catacombs of Kom el-Shoqafa, Pompey’s Pillar, and the Qaitbay Citadel.

Can I visit Abu Simbel?

Yes. Our All-Inclusive and Siwa Oasis packages both fly you to Abu Simbel to start a 3-night Lake Nasser cruise, so you see the temples outside the dawn convoy from Aswan. Ask us for the exact routing on the Dahabiya and Adventure Tour packages.

Which package is the most affordable?

Yes — our Adventure Tour starts from $3,080, the lowest of our four 19-day packages, pairing a Lake Nasser cruise with a felucca sail instead of a larger cruise ship.

What's the best time of year to go?

October to April, when temperatures are comfortable for the amount of walking these itineraries involve. On any package with a Lake Nasser or White Desert leg, avoid the height of summer — both are genuinely tough in extreme heat.

Do I need a visa to travel to Egypt?

Most nationalities do. You can buy a visa on arrival at Cairo airport for $30 in cash, or apply in advance through the official e-Visa portal. Your passport should be valid for at least six months from your arrival date.

How much walking should I expect during the tour?

Moderate but sustained — three to five kilometers on the busiest days, on uneven stone and sand, with steps at most temples and a steep descent into each tomb in the Valley of the Kings. Comfortable shoes, sunscreen, and a hat are essential.

Why book with Egypt Best Vacations?

We’re a licensed Egyptian tour operator based in Luxor, run by a working Egyptologist, not an agency reselling someone else’s ground handling. We’ve held the TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Award three years running: 2024, 2025, and 2026.

Is a luxury tier available?

Yes. Each of our four 19-day packages can be booked on our Platinum tier — 5-star deluxe hotels and ships — instead of the standard Gold tier quoted as the from-price. Contact us for Platinum rates on any of the four.

How much do these packages cost?

Our four 19-day itineraries start from $3,080 to $3,810 per person, depending on the package and cruise type — Lake Nasser, Nile cruise, Dahabiya, or felucca. Rates are for a triple or twin room in low season; prices rise over Christmas, New Year, and Easter. See each package for its full seasonal pricing table.
