Meet your guide just outside the arrival terminal at Aswan Airport to commence your Aswan tour. Your first stop will be at the High Dam, a dam built in the 1960s, to generate hydroelectricity and to stop floods. Then take a motorboat to explore the Temple of Philae. This temple was built primarily during the Ptolemaic period and is one of the most incredible temples in Egypt. It was due to the construction of the two dams in Aswan that UNESCO had to relocate the temple. End your journey at the granite quarry of the Unfinished Obelisk. We do not charge cancellation fees for tours canceled due to ‘force majeure’ events such as natural disasters or other uncontrollable circumstances. However, if you cancel for personal or business reasons after we have incurred booking costs on your behalf, these costs will be charged to you.
