This huge and splendid complex which actually contains many separate temples covers 1700 years of expansion and an area of 300 acres.
Then proceed to the majestic Temple of Luxor. The Temple of Luxor was built by the 18th Dynasty pharaoh Amenhotep III (1387-1349 BCE), and expanded by the 19th Dynasty pharaoh Ramses II (1279-1213 BCE). Savor your lunch at a local restaurant, then, transfer to your hotel for a free evening.

There are 65 tombs in the Valley of the Kings, your guide will recommend the best three tombs of the ones open to visit. From the glorious Valley of the Kings to the unique Temple of the female Pharaoh Hatshepsut who served as a solo pharaoh for about 20 years. Your Luxor 4 day itinerary shifts north to Abydos. Savor your breakfast at the hotel, then travel to Abydos. Here, you will explore the magnificent Temple of pharaoh Seti I and the Osirion. Abydos is the Greek name of the ancient Egyptian name (Abdju). Abdju was the great necropolis of Thini. Thini, the capital city of the 16th nome of Upper Egypt, held a great position during the Predynastic period. Seti I is one of the lesser-known pharaohs of the New Kingdom Period, however, his temple at Abydos is amongst the most famous, cited by many as the most impressive religious structure still standing in Egypt.
Then, Luxor highlights tour package continues to Dendera. Dendera is the home of the fabulous Temple of Hathor. The temple of Dendera dates back to the Ptolemaic Period, although evidence points to older structures once existing on the site, dating as far back as king Pepy I, from the Old Kingdom. Among the temple’s most notable features are astronomical engravings on its ceiling. Then, return back to Luxor for the final night of your 4 day trip to Luxor.

Continue to the beautiful tombs of the queens at the Valley of the Queens. The most beautiful tomb there, is that of Queen Nefertari but requires additional fee to visit. End your tour at the magnificent Temple of Habu.
