The Le Fayan Suites Nile cruise is for travellers who want space on the river. Most Nile cruise ships carry 60 to 70 cabins. Le Fayan Suites carries 37 suites and no standard cabins at all: 36 Luxury Suites and one Royal Suite. Fewer guests means a quieter sun deck, a calmer dining room and a crew with more time for each guest.
We sell the ship in our Luxury class, the highest of our four ship categories. It is rated 5-star in Egypt, and we consider it 5-star by Western standards too. On board you have a sun deck with a pool, a restaurant, a lounge bar and a wellness centre.
What makes this an Egypt Best Vacations cruise, and not just a suite booking, is the touring. Every shore visit is private. Your own licensed Egyptologist guide and vehicle take your party to Philae, Kom Ombo, Edfu, Karnak, Luxor Temple and the Valley of the Kings. There is no coach and no group to wait for, so you start when you are ready and stay as long as you like.
We are a licensed tour operator based in Luxor, founded by a professional Egyptologist, and a TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice winner in 2024, 2025 and 2026. You can compare this ship with the others in our collection of luxury Nile River cruises.

A Nubian village visit is an optional tour this afternoon.
