Your actual 6-day Egypt tour itinerary (Cairo, Luxor, and Aswan) begins when our professional tour guide picks you up from your hotel to commence your tour to the Great Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx and the GEM Museum.
Today, you will visit the Giza Plateau. Today’s tour includes the Great Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure with the great Sphinx. The only ancient wonder which still remains (Khufu’s pyramid) awaits you. Are you ready to discover it from the inside? (optional). Today you will learn about the history of the pyramids, how they were constructed, and why they were constructed.
Savor your lunch at a local restaurant, then continue to the Grand Egyptian Museum. Explore the world’s largest collection of ancient Egyptian treasures in one stunning modern complex. You’ll stand face-to-face with the full Tutankhamun collection and enjoy immersive galleries that bring Egypt’s history to life. Then, transfer back to your hotel.

Transfer to Cairo Airport to fly to the beautiful City of Aswan. Meet your guide just outside the arrival terminal to commence your Aswan tour. Visit the High Dam, one of the great engineering feats of the 1960s. Then proceed to the beautiful Temple of Isis at Philae Island. The temple was built during the Greco-Roman era and, was dedicated to Isis, goddess of Love and Magic in ancient Egypt. You will end your Aswan tour at the granite quarry of the Unfinished Obelisk to learn how the ancient Egyptians fashioned their obelisks and statues of gods and kings. Then, transfer to your hotel. Free evening in Aswan.

A highlight of this 6-day Cairo, Luxor and Aswan tour package is Abu Simbel temples. It requires an early wake up to take your transfer to the phenomenal Temples of Abu Simbel, (A breakfast box is required). The temples of Abu Simbel are considered among the most celebrated achievements of ancient Egypt. The two temples were cut in the cliffs about 310 Km south of Aswan. The Great Temple was built for Ramses II (1279-1213 BC), while the Small Temple was built for his beloved wife, Queen Nefertari.
Because of the rising water of Aswan High Dam, the temples had to be saved and rescued in a magnificent world rescue operation of temples in Lower Nubia. After your tour, return back to Aswan, then to Aswan train station, to board your seated train to Luxor. Transfer to your hotel in Luxor.

Breakfast at the hotel, then begin your Luxor highlights tour. Visit the magnificent Valley of the Kings. The Valley of the Kings is one of the most important highlights not only in Luxor but throughout Egypt. The Valley of the Kings is the necropolis of the great Egyptian pharaohs of the 18th to the 20th Dynasty (1550-1080 BCE). Continue to the unique Temple of the female pharaoh Hatshepsut, who served for about 20 years as a sole pharaoh.
Take a photo of the Colossi of Memnon before having your lunch at a local restaurant. Then, proceed to visit the Temple of Karnak and the Temple of Luxor. Both temples were dedicated to the Theban Triad; Amun, Mut and Khonsu. Then, transfer to Luxor Airport to fly back to Cairo. Transfer to your hotel in Cairo for the final night of your 6-day Cairo, Luxor and Aswan tour package.

After breakfast at the hotel, you will visit the Citadel of the Sunni Muslim leader Saladin, which was built in 1172 to protect Cairo against the Crusaders. We do not charge cancellation fees for tours canceled due to ‘force majeure’ events such as natural disasters or other uncontrollable circumstances. However, if you cancel for personal or business reasons after we have incurred booking costs on your behalf, these costs will be charged to you.
