3 Night Dahabiya Nile Cruise From Aswan To Esna

Day 1 Arrival in Aswan - Aswan Tour

Arrival at Aswan Airport/Railway. Meet Egypt Best Vacations guide just outside the arrival terminal to commence your 3-night Dahabiya cruise tour. Visit the High Dam, which is regarded as one of the most significant engineering feats of the twentieth century. Aswan High Dam was built to save water and protect Egypt from the Nile‘s high and low floods and to generate electricity.

Continue to the beautiful Temple of Philae. Philae Temple or the Temple of Isis at Philae Island in Aswan is one of the most beautiful temples in Egypt. It is known as the “Pearl of Egypt”. The temple is located on an island, so it requires a short boat ride.

End your tour at the granite quarry of the Unfinished Obelisk. Then Transfer to your Dahabiya Nile cruise. Set sail to Kom Ombo to overnight there.

Day 2Kom Ombo - Gabal El-Silsilah - Edfu

Breakfast then visit the twin Temple of Horus and Sobek together with the Crocodile Museum at Kom Ombo. This temple was built during the Greco-Roman period. The temple began during the time of Ptolemy V and was completed by the time of Emperor Tiberius. The emperors Domitian, Caracalla, and others added to the temple. So it took about 400 years to finish.

Enjoy a short visit to the Crocodile Museum before you go back to your Dahabiya Nile cruise to set sail to Gabal El Silsilah. Lunch on board and visit the Quarry of Gabal El-Silsilah where the ancient Egyptian workers cut the sandstone blocks to build temples for their gods. Visit the chapel of Horemheb at the quarry. Day 3Edfu - Esna

Enjoy your breakfast, then take a Horse and Carriage to visit the most intact temple in Egypt, the Temple of Horus in Edfu. The Temple of Horus in Edfu is one of the best-preserved ancient Egyptian temples, dedicated to the god Horus. The temple was built during the Ptolemaic dynasty, between 237 and 57 BCE, and is considered one of the most impressive examples of ancient Egyptian architecture.

Take your carriage back to your Dahabiya Nile cruise to set sail to Esna. Enjoy the final night of your 3-night Dahabiya cruise in Esna.

Day 4End of your 3-night Dahabiya cruise itinerary
