Itinerary
Explore the Heart of Civilization Within 7 Night Nile Cruise Package

Day 1Welcome aboard

Arrival at Luxor International Airport/Railway. Meet and assist by our representative of “Egypt Best Vacations”. Transfer to your Nile Cruise ship. Settle into your cabin and get ready for an unforgettable adventure of 7-night Nile cruise. Enjoy your free time onboard or explore the city of Luxor and discover the many things to do there at your leisure. Overnight in Luxor.

Day 2Kings Valley, Hatshepsut Temple and Colossi of Memnon

After a delicious breakfast on board, you will embark on a tour of the West Bank of Luxor.  Visit the glorious tombs of the Valley of the Kings. The pharaohs during the New Kingdom ceased building pyramids and cut their tombs deep into the mountain trying to hide them from grave robbers. There are 65 tombs in the Valley of the Kings, your guide will recommend the best three tombs of the ones open to visit.

From the glorious Valley of the Kings to discover the unique Temple of the female pharaoh Hatshepsut who served as solo pharaoh for about 20 years. You will end your trip at the giant Colossi of Memnon which survives from the Temple of pharaoh Amenhotep III.

Return back to your Nile cruise ship to set sail to Edfu via the Lock of Esna enjoying the scenic beauty of the Nile river along the way. Overnight in Edfu.

Day 3Edfu & Kom Ombo Temples

Start your day with a visit by a horse and carriage to the magnificent Temple of Horus in Edfu. This temple is the most intact temple in Egypt and was built during the Greco-Roman period.

After exploring this temple, take your carriage back to your cruise ship to set sail to Kom Ombo. Visit the twin Temple of Sobek, the Crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon god, which symbolizes the balance between good and evil. Visit the nearby Crocodile Museum to learn about the ancient beliefs and customs related to Sobek, the Crocodile god.

Your Nile Cruise ship will then continue on to Aswan, where you will spend the next two days.

Day 4Aswan Tour

You will spend two days of your 7-night Nile cruise package in Aswan. Welcome to the lovely City of Aswan. Your tour today includes the largest engineering project in the 1960s of the High Dam as well as the granite quarry of the Unfinished Obelisk and the amazing Temple of Philae. Return to your Nile Cruise ship for lunch and an afternoon of free time on board or to explore Aswan and its many sights on your own.

Optional tour: Nubian Village Tour in Aswan 

Get a taste of local culture and visit a traditional Nubian village. You will learn about the lifestyle and customs of the Nubian people, visit their homes and markets, and immerse yourself in the unique culture of rural Egypt. This is a unique opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of life in Egypt.

Day 5Free day

Enjoy a free day on board your Nile Cruise ship to relax and recharge, or join the optional tour to Abu Simbel, two massive rock temples built by Pharaoh Ramses II. These temples are a testament to the power and wealth of ancient Egypt and a must-see for anyone interested in the country’s rich history.

Day 6Aswan - Kom Ombo - Edfu

Your Nile cruise ship will sail back to Kom Ombo, stopping to visit Kom Ombo Temple (new arrival guests). You have a free day on board to enjoy cruising. Then, the ship will set sail from Kom Ombo down to Edfu, stopping there for new guests to visit the Temple of Edfu. Then set sail down to Luxor via the lock of Esna.

Day 7Karnak & Luxor Temples

Today, you will explore the east bank of Luxor, home to some of the city’s most magnificent temples and monuments. First stop is the Karnak Temple Complex, one of the largest temple complexes in the world. Here, you will discover a collection of temples dedicated to various gods, including Amun, Mut, and Khonsu. Then, visit the Temple of Luxor, dedicated to the god Amun and built by Pharaoh Amenhotep III. Admire the towering columns, reliefs, and intricate carvings, and learn about the temple’s rich history and significance.

After your tour, you will take a transfer back to your Nile Cruise ship for final night of your 7-night Nile cruise and farewell dinner.

Day 8End of your 7-night Nile cruise package

Unfortunately, it is the end of your 7-night Nile cruise itinerary. Enjoy your breakfast, and  say goodbye to the ancient wonders of Egypt. Disembark your Nile Cruise ship and transfer to Luxor International Airport or Railway for your departure.
