Your 6-day Cairo & Nile cruise adventure begins in Cairo, where you’ll marvel at the Great Pyramids of Giza, and explore the Egyptian Museum. Wander through the vibrant Khan El-Khalili bazaar. From there, you’ll fly to Aswan to board your Nile River cruise ship, where you’ll sail through the heart of Egypt and visit temples, tombs, and other ancient sites along the way.

Meet your guide outside the arrival terminal to begin your Egypt 6-day Cairo & Nile cruise package. Enjoy a guided tour to the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. Your Egyptologist tour guide will explain to you how and why the Ancient Egyptian kings built the Pyramids. He will tell you about the mystery behind the pyramids. Transfer to your hotel.
Overnight in Cairo
Early breakfast in the hotel before flying to Aswan to begin your 3-night Nile River Cruise from Aswan to Luxor which is the most beautiful part of your 6 days Egypt tour package. Meet your guide just outside the arrival terminal at Aswan Airport to commence your tour.
Your first stop will be at the High Dam, a dam built in the 1960s, to generate hydroelectricity and to stop floods. Then take a motorboat to explore the Temple of Philae, which was built primarily during the Ptolemaic period and is one of the most incredible Temples in Egypt. It was due to the construction of the two dams in Aswan that UNESCO had to relocate the temple. End your journey at the granite quarry of the Unfinished Obelisk.

As the midday sun warms the air, your Nile cruise sets sail for Kom Ombo. Disembark and explore the unique Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the gods Horus and Sobek. Enjoy a short visit to the Crocodile Museum, before you go back to your river cruise to set sail to Edfu. Overnight in Edfu.
After or before breakfast, you will be taken in a horse-drawn carriage to visit Edfu’s Temple of Horus, which was built during the Greco-Roman era and is the most intact temple in Egypt. Afterward the cruise will sail from Edfu via the Lock of Esna on its way to Luxor.
Once you reach Luxor, you will have the chance to see the largest temple in Egypt, the Temple of Karnak, built by several pharaohs in ancient times, as well as the majestic Temple of Luxor, which is connected to Karnak by the ceremonial Sphinxes Avenue. These temples were dedicated to Amun, Mut, and Khonsu, the Theban Triad. Overnight in Luxor.
You will be disembarking from the ship after breakfast in order to explore the western side of Luxor. From the museum to the Citadel of the Sunni Muslim leader Saladin, which was built in 1172 to defend Cairo against the Crusaders. The White Mosque of Mohammed Ali Pasha is a prominent feature of the citadel. You will finish your tour today at the historical bazaar of Khan El-Khalili, the largest bazaar in the Middle East.
