A magnificent Nile cruise vacation beckons! Early breakfast in the hotel before flying to Aswan to begin your 3-night Nile River Cruise from Aswan to Luxor which is the most beautiful part of your 6 days Egypt tour package. Meet your guide just outside the arrival terminal at Aswan Airport to commence your Aswan tour. Your first stop will be at the High Dam, a dam built in the 1960s, to generate hydroelectricity and to stop floods. Then take a motorboat to explore the Temple of Philae, which was built primarily during the Ptolemaic period and is one of the most incredible Temples in Egypt. It was due to the construction of the two dams in Aswan that UNESCO had to relocate the temple. End your journey at the granite quarry of the Unfinished Obelisk. Then, transfer to your Nile cruise ship. Overnight in Aswan.

As the midday sun warms the air, your Nile cruise sets sail for Kom Ombo. Disembark and explore the unique Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the gods Horus and Sobek. Enjoy a short visit to the Crocodile Museum, before you go back to your river cruise to set sail to Edfu. Overnight in Edfu.

Before breakfast, you will be taken in a horse-drawn carriage to visit Edfu’s Temple of Horus, which was built during the Greco-Roman era and is the most intact temple in Egypt. Afterward the cruise will sail from Edfu via the Lock of Esna on its way to Luxor. Once you reach Luxor, you will have the chance to see the largest temple in Egypt, the Temple of Karnak, built by several pharaohs in ancient times, as well as the majestic Temple of Luxor, which is connected to Karnak by the ceremonial Sphinxes Avenue. These temples were dedicated to Amun, Mut, and Khonsu, the Theban Triad. Overnight in Luxor.
