Upon arrival at Luxor International Airport, you will meet and assist by our representative of “Egypt Best Vacations” who will help you through the visa regulations. Meet your guide just outside the arrival terminal to begin your 8-day Egypt itinerary from Malaysia.

Visit the Temple of Karnak. It is the largest temple in Egypt. Its vast halls, towering columns, and sacred sanctuaries reveal the greatness of Thebes during the New Kingdom. Then, proceed to the majestic Temple of Luxor. Luxor Temple is one of the most beautiful ancient temples in Egypt. Built mainly by Amenhotep III and Ramses II. It was dedicated to the rejuvenation of kingship and the glory of ancient Thebes. Both temples were dedicated to Theban Triad; Amun, Mut and Khonsu. Then, head to your Nile cruise ship to begin 4 nights River Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan. Overnight in Luxor.

Today, you will visit the glorious tombs of the Valley of the Kings. The pharaohs during the New Kingdom ceased building pyramids and cut their tombs deep into the mountain trying to hide them from grave robbers. There are 65 tombs in the Valley of the Kings, your guide will recommend the best three tombs of the ones open to visit. From the glorious Valley of the Kings to the unique Temple of the female pharaoh Hatshepsut who served as a solo pharaoh for about 20 years. Its grand terraces, elegant design, and dramatic setting against the cliffs of Deir El-Bahari.

End your Luxor West Bank tour at the Colossi of Memnon of Amenhotep III. Two giant statues once, they stood in front of the main gate of the temple. Head back to your cruise ship to set sail to Edfu via the Lock of Esna. Overnight in Edfu.

Enjoy your breakfast then, take a horse carriage to the Temple of Horus in Edfu. This temple is the most intact temple in Egypt and was built during the Greco-Roman period. The Temple of Edfu is fully inscribed with reliefs and hieroglyphs on its exterior and interior walls. Visiting Edfu Temple adds a great value to your Egypt tour from Malaysia. Take your carriage back to your Nile cruise ship to set sail to Kom Ombo.

Disembark in Kom Ombo to visit the twin Temple of Sobek, the Crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon god. Kom Ombo Temple was built during the Greco-Roman period. It was built over the ruined temple of the New Kingdom. The temple began during the time of Ptolemy V and was completed by the time of Emperor Tiberius. The emperors Domitian, Caracalla, and others added to the temple. So it took about 400 years to finish. Enjoy a short visit to the Crocodile Museum before you go back to your Nile cruise ship to set sail to Aswan where it moors for the next two days.

Breakfast, then visit the great highlights of Aswan. Visit the High Dam, which is regarded as one of the most significant engineering feats of the twentieth century. The Aswan High Dam was built to save water and protect Egypt from the Nile’s high and low floods and to generate electricity. Continue to the beautiful Temple of Philae. Philae Temple or the temple of Isis at Philae Island in Aswan is one of the most beautiful temples in Egypt and known as the “Pearl of Egypt”. End your Aswan tour at the granite quarry of the Unfinished Obelisk. Here, you will learn how the ancient Egyptians fashioned their obelisks and statues of gods and Kings. Transfer back to your river cruise. Overnight in Aswan.

You’ll stand face-to-face with the full Tutankhamun collection and enjoy immersive galleries that bring Egypt’s history to life. Then, head back to your hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, you will visit the Citadel of the Sunni Muslim leader Saladin. A fort was built in 1172 to protect Cairo against the Crusaders. The White Mosque of Mohammed Ali Pasha is a prominent feature of the citadel. Continue to the Coptic Cairo District to visit the Hanging Church. The Hanging Church is one of the most famous Christian landmarks in Old Cairo. It is known for its beautiful wooden ceiling, historic icons, and unique location above the Babylon Fortress.

Proceed to Abu Serga Church. Abu Serga Church is one of the oldest churches in Old Cairo and a major stop on the Holy Family route in Egypt. It is especially revered because tradition says the Holy Family stayed in a cave beneath the church during their journey in Egypt. End your Coptic Cairo tour at the Ben Ezra Synagogue. Ben Ezra Synagogue is one of the most important Jewish landmarks in Old Cairo. It is famous for its rich history and for the Geniza documents that revealed valuable details about daily life in the medieval Middle East.

You will finish your tour today at the historical bazaar of Khan El-Khalili, the largest bazaar in the Middle East. Then, transfer back to your hotel for the last night of your Egypt travel package from Malaysia.
