Itinerary
8 Days Amenhotep Tour From Malaysia

Day 1 Arrival in Luxor, Egypt - Karnak & Luxor Temples

Arrive at Luxor International Airport. Meet and assist by our representative of “Egypt Best Vacations” who will help you through the arrival and visa regulations. 

Meet your guide outside the arrival terminal to commence your tour. Explore the largest temple in the world, the Temple of Karnak, and the majestic Temple of Luxor. Both temples were dedicated to the Theban Triad of Amun, Mut, and Khonsu.
Transfer to your Dahabiya Nile cruise. Overnight in Luxor.

Day 2Kings Valley, Hatshepsut Temple and Colossi of Memnon

Today, you will visit the glorious tombs of the Valley of the Kings. The pharaohs during the New Kingdom ceased building pyramids and cut their tombs deep into the mountain trying to hide them from the grave robbers. There are 65 tombs in the Valley of the Kings, your guide will recommend the best three tombs of the ones opened to visit.
From the glorious Valley of the Kings to the unique Temple of the female pharaoh Hatshepsut who served as a solo pharaoh for about 20 years.
You end your trip at the giant Colossi of Memnon which survives from the Temple of pharaoh Amenhotep III.
Return back to the Dahabiya cruise to set sail to Edfu via the Lock of Esna. Overnight in Edfu.

Day 3Edfu & Kom Ombo Temples

You will wake up on the voices of the horsemen who are waiting to take you to the Temple of Horus in Edfu. This temple is the most intact temple in Egypt and was built during the Greco-Roman period. After visiting the temple, you will sail up to Kom Ombo to visit the twin Temple of Sobek, the Crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon god. Then proceed to the Crocodile Museum in the vicinity of the temple. After the tour, the Dahabiya cruise will sail up to Aswan where it moors for the next two days.

Day 4Aswan Tour

Welcome to the lovely City of Aswan. Your tour today includes the largest engineering project in the 1960s of the High Dam as well as the granite quarry of the Unfinished Obelisk and the amazing Temple of Philae. Back on board your Dahabiya cruise. Free evening to discover the City of Aswan.

Day 5Fly to Cairo

Day 6Giza Great Pyramids, Sphinx and Saqqara

Today, you will explore the Giza Plateau. Today’s tour includes the Great Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure with the great Sphinx. The only ancient wonder which still exists (Khufu’s pyramid) awaits you. Are you ready to explore it from the inside? (Optional).
Today you will learn about the history of the pyramids, how they were built, and why they were built. Then on to the first pyramid in history, the Step Pyramid of King Djoser at Saqqara. 

Transfer back to your hotel.

Day 7Egyptian Museum, Saladin Citadel and Khan El-Khalili

Explore the fabulous contents of the historical Egyptian Museum at Tahrir Square in Cairo. Thousands of artifacts from all periods of Egyptian history are displayed on the two floors of the museum.
From the museum to the Citadel of the Sunni Muslim leader Saladin, which was built in 1172 to defend Cairo against the Crusaders. The White Mosque of Mohammed Ali Pasha is a prominent feature of the Citadel.
You will finish your tour today at the historical bazaar of Khan El-Khalili, the largest bazaar in the Middle East.
