Day 1 Arrival in Luxor, Egypt

Arrival at Luxor International Airport/Railway. Meet and assist by our representative of “Egypt Best Vacations”. Transfer to your Nile cruise ship. Overnight in Luxor.

Day 2Kings Valley, Hatshepsut Temple and Colossi of Memnon

Enjoy your breakfast onboard your Nile cruise, then visit visit the glorious tombs of the Valley of the Kings. The pharaohs during the New Kingdom ceased building pyramids and cut their tombs deep into the mountain trying to hide them from grave robbers. There are 65 tombs in the Valley of the Kings, your guide will suggest the best 3 tombs of the ones open to visit.
From the glorious Valley of the Kings to the unique Temple of the female pharaoh Hatshepsut who served as solo pharaoh for about 20 years.
You will end your trip at the giant Colossi of Memnon which survives from the Temple of pharaoh Amenhotep III.

Back to your Nile cruise to set sail to Edfu via the Lock of Esna. Overnight in Edfu.

Day 3Edfu & Kom Ombo Temples

You will wake up on the voices of the horsemen who are waiting to take you to the Temple of Horus in Edfu. This temple is the most intact temple in Egypt and was built during the Greco-Roman period.

After visiting the temple, you will sail up to Kom Ombo to visit the twin Temple of Sobek, the Crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon god. Then proceed to the Crocodile Museum in the vicinity of the temple. After the tour, the cruise will sail up to Aswan where it moors for the next two days.

Day 4Aswan Tour

Welcome to the lovely City of Aswan. Your tour today includes the largest engineering project in the 1960s of the High Dam as well as the granite quarry of the Unfinished Obelisk and the amazing Temple of Philae. Back on board for lunch.
Free afternoon onboard or discover Aswan on your own. Overnight in Aswan.

Day 5Aswan

Enjoy a free day on board or join us on an optional Tour to Abu Simbel Temples.  

Overnight in Aswan.

Day 6Aswan - Kom Ombo - Edfu

The cruise will sail back to Kom Ombo, stopping to visit Kom Ombo Temple (new arrival guests). You have a free day on board to enjoy cruising.
Then the cruise will set sail from Kom Ombo down to Edfu, stopping there for new guests to visit the Temple of Edfu. Overnight in Edfu.

Day 7Karnak & Luxor Temples

The Nile cruise ship will sail from Edfu to Luxor via the Lock of Esna. Upon arrival in Luxor you will visit the largest temple in the world, Karnak Temple, and the majestic Luxor Temple. Both were dedicated to the Theban Triad of Amun, Mut, and Khonsu. Overnight in Luxor

Day 8Fly home
