After a delicious breakfast on board, you will embark on a tour of the West Bank of Luxor. Visit the glorious tombs of the Valley of the Kings. The pharaohs during the New Kingdom ceased building pyramids and cut their tombs deep into the mountain trying to hide them from grave robbers. There are 65 tombs in the Valley of the Kings, your guide will recommend the best three tombs of the ones open to visit.
From the glorious Valley of the Kings to discover the unique Temple of the female pharaoh Hatshepsut who served as solo pharaoh for about 20 years. You will end your trip at the giant Colossi of Memnon which survives from the Temple of pharaoh Amenhotep III. Then, return back to your Nile cruise ship to set sail to Edfu via the Lock of Esna enjoying the scenic beauty of the Nile river along the way. Overnight in Edfu.
