Today, you will visit the Giza Plateau. Today’s tour includes the Great Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure with the great Sphinx. The only ancient wonder which still remains (Khufu’s pyramid) awaits you. Are you ready to discover it from the inside? (Optional). Today you will learn about the history of the pyramids, how they were constructed, and why they were constructed.
Savor your lunch at a local restaurant, then continue to the Grand Egyptian Museum. Explore the world’s largest collection of ancient Egyptian treasures in one stunning modern complex. You’ll stand face-to-face with the full Tutankhamun collection and enjoy immersive galleries that bring Egypt’s history to life. Then, head back to your hotel.

Your 6-day Egypt tour for solo travelers takes your to Aswan. So, you will take a transfer to Cairo Airport to fly to Aswan. Meet your guide just outside the arrival terminal to commence your Aswan tour. Explore the wonders of the beautiful City of Aswan such as the High Dam, one of the great engineering feats of the 1960s. Then proceed to the beautiful Temple of Isis at Philae Island. This temple was built in the Greco-Roman era. It was dedicated to Isis, the goddess of Love and Magic in ancient Egypt. You will end your Aswan tour at the granite quarry of the Unfinished Obelisk. Then, transfer to your hotel in Aswan.

Transfer to the phenomenal Temples of Ramses II, and his beautiful wife Nefertari at Abu Simbel. The temples of Abu Simbel are considered among the most celebrated achievements of ancient Egypt. The two temples were cut in the cliffs about 310 Km south of Aswan. The Great Temple was built for Ramses II (1279-1213 BC), while the Small Temple was built for his beloved wife, Queen Nefertari. Because the water level of the Aswan High Dam was rising, the temples needed to be saved. This led to a grand rescue operation for the temples in Lower Nubia. Then, transfer back Aswan Train Station, to board your seated train to Luxor. Transfer to your hotel in Luxor.

Breakfast at the hotel, then begin your Luxor wonders tour. Visit the magnificent Valley of the Kings. The Valley of the Kings is one of the most important highlights not only in Luxor but throughout Egypt. The Valley of the Kings is the necropolis of the great Egyptian pharaohs of the 18th to the 20th Dynasty (1550-1080 BCE). Continue to the unique Temple of the female pharaoh Hatshepsut, who served for about 20 years as a sole pharaoh.
Take a photo of the Colossi of Memnon before having your lunch at a local restaurant. Then, proceed to visit the Temple of Karnak and the Temple of Luxor. Both temples were dedicated to the Theban Triad; Amun, Mut and Khonsu. Then, transfer to Luxor Airport to fly back to Cairo.
