This private 5 day luxury Cairo and Hurghada tour is built for travellers with less than a week who want both halves of Egypt: the Pyramids and a real rest by the sea. You spend two nights in a five-star Cairo hotel on the Nile, give one full day to the Giza Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum with your own Egyptologist guide, then fly an hour to Hurghada for two all-inclusive nights at a Red Sea resort.

The tour is private from start to finish. You have your own guide, driver and vehicle in Cairo, and it starts on the date you choose. The flight from Cairo to Hurghada, the flight back to Cairo on the last day, every transfer and every entrance fee named in the itinerary are in the price.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive in Cairo, Egypt

Our representative meets you inside the arrivals terminal at Cairo International Airport, holding a signboard with your name, and helps you through the visa and passport formalities. A private vehicle takes you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free, and dinner is at the hotel.

Day 2Giza Pyramids, Sphinx and the Grand Egyptian Museum

After breakfast your Egyptologist guide collects you for the Giza Plateau. You see the Great Pyramids of Giza, built for Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure, the viewpoint where all three line up, and the Sphinx with its Valley Temple.

After lunch at a local restaurant you cross to the Grand Egyptian Museum, which stands beside the plateau. Allow three to four hours for the complete Tutankhamun collection and the main galleries. Your guide leads you through the highlights, and because the tour is private you decide where to linger. Dinner is at your hotel.

Day 3Fly to Hurghada

After breakfast a private transfer takes you to Cairo airport for the flight to Hurghada, which takes about one hour. A driver meets you on arrival and takes you to your resort on the Red Sea. The afternoon is free for the beach and the pool. Your stay in Hurghada is all-inclusive.

Day 5Day 5: Hurghada to Cairo and departure

After breakfast a private transfer takes you to Hurghada airport for the flight back to Cairo, where you connect to your flight home. Book an evening departure from Cairo to allow time for the connection. If your flight home leaves from Hurghada, tell us when you book.

Pricing Policy

All our prices are in USD per person per trip. You can also make your payment online through a secure payment gateway with no additional fees or surcharges. We accept USD, Euros, GBP, CAD, AUD and NZD. The starting price is for one adult in a triple room on a private tour. It shows the lowest price during the low season.

Tipping

Tipping is not included in our tour packages and is left entirely to your discretion. While it is not mandatory, it is greatly appreciated by the people who assist you during your journey.

Here is a suggested tipping list:

Driver – full day $3-5 per person per day.

Driver – transfer $1-3 per person per day.

Tour guide – full day $15-20 per person per day.

Tour guide – half day $10-15 per person per day.

Representative / tour leader $3-5 per person per day.

Children Policy

Children from 0-2 years pay 30% of the adult price.
Children from 3-5 years pay 40% of the adult price.
Children from 6-11 years pay 50% of the adult price.
Children from 12 years pay adult price.

Deposit and Payment

A deposit of 25-50% to secure your booking through a payment link. The remaining balance is also will be wired through payment links sent to your email.

Cancellation Policy

We do not charge cancellation fees for tours canceled due to ‘force majeure’ events such as natural disasters or other uncontrollable circumstances. However, if you cancel for personal or business reasons after we have incurred booking costs on your behalf, these costs will be charged to you.

From the date of booking up to 75 days before the date of your arrival, 10% of the total tour price will be charged.
Between 74 and 61 days before your arrival date, 25% of the total tour price will be charged.
Between 60 and 30 days before your arrival date, 50% of the total tour price will be charged.
Between 29 and 15 days before your arrival date, 75% of the total tour price will be charged.
Between 14 and 08 days before your arrival date, 90% of the total tour price will be charged.
Between 07 and 1 day before your arrival date, 100% of the total tour price will be charged.

We don’t provide a travel insurance. We recommend to buy it beforehand if you want.

Extra Expenses & Additional Entry Tickets

Our tours do not include entrance fees for special archaeological sites such as:

Walking inside the pyramids.

The tour starts from $1,470 per person in a twin room at the Diamond level (Egyptian 5-star ultra deluxe hotels) and from $2,270 per person at the Elite level (Egyptian 5-star luxury hotels). Both are the lowest season rate in US dollars. The price depends on your travel dates and room type, and we confirm it when you enquire.

Is this a private tour?

Yes. All our luxury tours are private. You have your own Egyptologist guide, driver and vehicle in Cairo, no other guests join you, and the tour starts on any day you choose.

How do I travel from Cairo to Hurghada?

By air. The flight takes about one hour and is included in the price, with private transfers to and from both airports. The flight from Hurghada back to Cairo on day 5 is also included.

Which hotels are used in Cairo and Hurghada?

At the Diamond level, Cairo hotels include the Sofitel Cairo Nile El Gezirah, the Cairo Marriott and the Kempinski Nile Hotel, and Hurghada hotels include SUNRISE Tucana Resort, Pickalbatros Citadel Resort, Baron Palace Sahl Hasheesh and Tropitel Sahl Hasheesh. How long do we spend at the Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum?

One full day. The morning is on the Giza Plateau with the three pyramids and the Sphinx. After lunch you visit the Grand Egyptian Museum, which stands beside the plateau, for three to four hours. Your guide sets the pace to suit you.

Can I fly home from Hurghada?

The tour includes a flight from Hurghada back to Cairo on day 5, so most guests fly home from Cairo that evening. Hurghada also has its own international airport. If your flight home leaves from there, tell us when you book and we plan the last day around it.

Do I need a visa?

Most nationalities need a tourist visa for Egypt. It costs US$30 on arrival at Cairo airport, or you can apply for an e-visa before you travel. Our representative meets you inside the arrivals terminal and helps you through the formalities.

When is the best time for a Cairo and Hurghada tour?

October to April is the most comfortable time for the day in Cairo, with warm days and cool evenings. Hurghada is sunny all year. In summer Cairo is hot, so touring starts early, and the Red Sea is at its warmest.

Can I add more nights or visit Luxor?

Do children get a discount?

Yes, when a child shares a room with the parents. Because this tour includes flights inside Egypt, children under 3 pay 30%, ages 3 to 5 pay 40% and ages 6 to 11 pay 50% of the adult price. Children aged 12 and over pay the adult price.
