This 5-day luxury Cairo and Sharm El Sheikh tour pairs Egypt’s greatest monuments with a Red Sea beach break, in 5-star hotels and without long drives or group buses. You spend two nights in a 5-star Cairo hotel and explore the Giza Pyramids, the Great Sphinx and the Grand Egyptian Museum with your own Egyptologist guide. A one-hour domestic flight then takes you to Sharm El Sheikh for two all-inclusive nights at a 5-star beach resort.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Cairo & Private Airport Transfer

Our representative meets you inside Cairo International Airport and helps you through visa and arrival formalities. A private air-conditioned vehicle then takes you to your 5-star hotel in Cairo. The rest of the day is free to rest after your flight, and dinner is at the hotel.

Day 2Giza Pyramids, Great Sphinx & Grand Egyptian Museum

After breakfast, your private Egyptologist guide takes you to the Giza Plateau. You see the Great Pyramid of Khufu and the pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure, and your guide explains how and why they were built about 4,500 years ago. You stop at the panoramic viewpoint for photos of all the pyramids, then visit the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple of Khafre.

Lunch is at a local restaurant. In the afternoon you explore the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), Egypt’s newest and largest museum. Highlights include the Grand Staircase lined with royal statues and the complete treasures of King Tutankhamun, including his golden funerary items. You return to your hotel for dinner.

Day 3Fly from Cairo to Sharm El Sheikh

After breakfast, you transfer to Cairo Airport for the one-hour domestic flight to Sharm El Sheikh on the Red Sea. Our team meets you on arrival and drives you to your 5-star all-inclusive beach resort. Spend the rest of the day swimming, snorkeling the resort’s reef or relaxing by the pool.

Day 4Free Day in Sharm El Sheikh (Optional Excursions)

Things to Know

Pricing Policy

All our prices are in USD per person per trip. You can also make your payment online through a secure payment gateway with no additional fees or surcharges. We accept USD, Euros, GBP, CAD, AUD and NZD. The starting price is for one adult in a triple room on a private tour. It shows the lowest price during the low season.

Tipping

Tipping is not included in our tour packages and is left entirely to your discretion. While it is not mandatory, it is greatly appreciated by the people who assist you during your journey.

Here is a suggested tipping list:

Driver – full day $3-5 per person per day.

Driver – transfer $1-3 per person per day.

Tour guide – full day $20-25 per person per day.

Tour guide – half day $15-20 per person per day.

Representative / tour leader $3-5 per person per day.

Children Policy

Children from 0-2 years pay 30% of the adult price.
Children from 3-5 years pay 40% of the adult price.
Children from 6-11 years pay 50% of the adult price.
Children from 12 years pay adult price.

Deposit and Payment

A deposit of 25-50% to secure your booking through a payment link. The remaining balance is also will be wired through payment links sent to your email.

Cancellation Policy

We do not charge cancellation fees for tours canceled due to ‘force majeure’ events such as natural disasters or other uncontrollable circumstances. However, if you cancel for personal or business reasons after we have incurred booking costs on your behalf, these costs will be charged to you.

From the date of booking up to 75 days before the date of your arrival, 10% of the total tour price will be charged.
Between 74 and 61 days before your arrival date, 25% of the total tour price will be charged.
Between 60 and 30 days before your arrival date, 50% of the total tour price will be charged.
Between 29 and 15 days before your arrival date, 75% of the total tour price will be charged.
Between 14 and 08 days before your arrival date, 90% of the total tour price will be charged.
Between 07 and 1 day before your arrival date, 100% of the total tour price will be charged.

Travel Insurance

We don’t provide a travel insurance. We recommend to buy it beforehand if you want.

Extra Expenses & Additional Entry Tickets

Our tours do not include entrance fees for special archaeological sites such as:

Walking inside the pyramids.

These attractions require an additional fee. Please contact us if you would like to add or adjust anything in your itinerary.

Other personal expenses during your trip may include:

Is 5 days enough to see Cairo and Sharm El Sheikh?

Yes, for the highlights. One full day in Cairo covers the Giza Pyramids, the Great Sphinx and the Grand Egyptian Museum, and two nights in Sharm El Sheikh give you a real beach break. If you also want Luxor or a Nile cruise, look at our 8-day Pyramids & Red Sea tours.

How do I get from Cairo to Sharm El Sheikh?

This package includes a domestic flight of about one hour. Driving takes 6 to 7 hours through Sinai, so flying is the best way to fit both places into a short trip.

When is the best time for a Cairo and Sharm El Sheikh holiday?

October to April is the most comfortable time for sightseeing in Cairo. Sharm El Sheikh is warm enough for swimming all year, and the sea stays between about 22 and 28 °C.

Is this a private tour?

Yes. Your guide, driver and vehicle are for your group only, so you can set the pace and adjust timings on your sightseeing day.

Can I add extra nights or excursions?

Yes. Popular add-ons are extra beach nights, a Ras Mohammed snorkeling cruise, a Mount Sinai sunrise hike, or a day trip from Cairo to Alexandria. Tell us when you book and we will build them into your itinerary.

Do I need a visa for Egypt?
