Five days, two Egypts. You spend the first half of this tour on the Giza plateau and inside the Grand Egyptian Museum with an Egyptologist who can tell you what you are actually looking at, and the second half on the Red Sea, where late December runs warm, dry and bright while northern Europe does not.
The pace is deliberate. One full Cairo day covering the Pyramids, the Sphinx and the GEM, an evening flight to Sinai, then Sharm El-Sheikh on an all-inclusive basis — swim, snorkel the reef, take an optional excursion, or do none of it. Domestic flights, transfers, entrance fees and airport meet-and-assist are all handled. You land, and everything else is arranged.
This tour is private, as all our two to six day itineraries are. Your own Egyptologist, your own vehicle, your own party and nobody else’s — which, over a Christmas week when every site in Giza is busy, is the difference between queuing and understanding.
Our representative meets you inside Cairo International Airport, walks you through the arrival formalities and the visa desk, and transfers you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours. If you land early enough and want to use the afternoon, tell us in advance and we will add an optional half-day.
Meals Plan: No Meals Included
Breakfast at the hotel, then out to the Giza plateau with your Egyptologist for the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure, and the Sphinx with its valley temple. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, the Grand Egyptian Museum: the Grand Staircase, the main galleries, and the Tutankhamun galleries, where the complete tomb assemblage is displayed together for the first time. Late afternoon transfer to Cairo Airport for the flight to Sharm El-Sheikh, arrival transfer to your resort, and dinner there.
This is the fullest day of the tour, and because the tour is private it runs at your pace rather than a coach schedule — we can start earlier, linger at the GEM, or drop a site if you would rather not rush. If you would prefer to split Giza and the GEM across two days, ask us and we will quote the six-day version.

Nothing scheduled. The hotel is all-inclusive, the Red Sea sits at around 22–24°C in late December, and the house reef at most Naama and Nabq resorts is snorkelable straight from the beach. If you want more than that, the optional list includes a Ras Mohammed or Tiran Island boat trip, a glass-bottom boat, a desert quad safari with a Bedouin dinner, and the overnight Saint Catherine’s Monastery and Mount Sinai trip.
