Today, you will visit the glorious tombs of the Valley of the Kings. The pharaohs during the New Kingdom ceased building pyramids and cut their tombs deep into the mountain trying to hide them from grave robbers. There are 65 tombs in the Valley of the Kings, your guide will suggest the best 3 tombs of the ones open to visit.

The third day of your river cruise itinerary is fantastic. You will wake up to the horsemen’s voices waiting to take you to the Temple of Horus in Edfu. This temple is the most intact temple in Egypt and was built during the Greco-Roman period. After visiting the temple, you will sail up to Kom Ombo to visit the twin Temple of Sobek, the Crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon god. Then proceed to the Crocodile Museum in the vicinity of the temple. After the tour, the ship will sail up to Aswan where it moors for the next two days.
