4 Nights Nile River Cruise Itinerary From Hurghada

Day 1 Welcome aboard - Karnak & Luxor Temples

Our driver will pick you up from your hotel in Hurghada to transfer (4 hours) you to Luxor where you will begin your 4 nights Nile cruise from Hurghada.

Enjoy your lunch onboard, then you’re invited to explore the largest temple in the world, the Temple of Karnak, and the majestic Temple of Luxor. Both temples were dedicated to the Theban Triad of Amun, Mut, and Khonsu.

After immersing yourself in the historical marvels, return back to your Nile River cruise ship, where you will spend the night in Luxor. This marks the beginning of a captivating exploration along the Nile, with more enchanting experiences awaiting you.

Day 2Kings Valley, Hatshepsut Temple and Colossi of Memnon

Today, you will visit the glorious tombs of the Valley of the Kings. The pharaohs during the New Kingdom ceased building pyramids and cut their tombs deep into the mountain trying to hide them from grave robbers. There are 65 tombs in the Valley of the Kings, your guide will recommend the best three tombs of the ones open to visit.

From the glorious Valley of the Kings to the unique Temple of the female pharaoh Hatshepsut who served as a solo pharaoh for about 20 years. You will end your trip at the giant Colossi of Memnon which survives from the Temple of pharaoh Amenhotep III.

Return back to the ship to set sail to Edfu via the Lock of Esna. Overnight in Edfu.

Day 3Edfu & Kom Ombo Temples

Enjoy breakfast of the third day of your 4 nights Nile cruise from Hurghada, then take a horse and carriage to visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu. This temple is the most intact temple in Egypt and was built during the Greco-Roman period. The Temple of Edfu is fully inscribed with reliefs and hieroglyphs on its exterior and interior walls.

Take your carriage back to your river cruise to set sail to Kom Ombo. Visit the twin Temple of Sobek, the Crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon god. Then proceed to the Crocodile Museum in the vicinity of the temple.

Day 4Aswan Tour

Welcome to the lovely City of Aswan. Your tour today includes the largest engineering project in the 1960s of the High Dam as well as the granite quarry of the Unfinished Obelisk and the amazing Temple of Philae. This temple was built during the Greco-Roman era and dedicated to Isis, goddess of Love and Magic in Ancient Egypt.
