Can I add a Nile cruise to a 4-day Egypt itinerary?

No. A traditional Nile cruise (Luxor to Aswan) requires a minimum of 3-4 nights on the river itself. A 4-day total trip length only allows for land-based touring. You can, however, take a short felucca ride in Luxor as a taste of the Nile.

What should I pack for a 4-day Egypt winter/summer trip?

  • Winter (Nov-Feb): Layers! Days are mild (20-25°C/68-77°F), but mornings/evenings are cool (can drop to 10°C/50°F). Pack a light jacket/sweater.

  • Summer (Jun-Aug): Light, breathable, modest clothing (cotton, linen), a wide-brimmed hat, high-SPF sunscreen, and a reusable water bottle. A scarf is essential for sun protection.
