Your actual 4-day tour of Cairo and Luxor begins when our professional tour guide picks you up from your hotel to commence your tour to the Great Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx and the GEM Museum.

The Egypt pyramids tour begins with the Great Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure, along with the great Sphinx, which will leave us awestruck. You will delve into the history of the pyramids, learn about their construction, and discover the secrets behind their purpose and how old the pyramids are.
Savor your lunch at a local restaurant, then continue to the Grand Egyptian Museum. Explore the world’s largest collection of ancient Egyptian treasures in one stunning modern complex. You’ll stand face-to-face with the full Tutankhamun collection and enjoy immersive galleries that bring Egypt’s history to life. Then, return back to your hotel.

You’ll fly to Luxor to explore the magnificent Valley of the Kings, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the final resting place of many pharaohs of the New Kingdom, including Tutankhamun. You will delve into the rich history of the pharaohs as you explore the impressive tombs, adorned with intricate hieroglyphics and stunning artwork.
Next, you will visit the unique Hatshepsut Temple, an architectural masterpiece built by the female pharaoh. The temple is adorned with beautiful carvings and hieroglyphics depicting Hatshepsut’s reign. You will also marvel at the giant Colossi of Memnon, two massive statues that once stood at the entrance of the temple of Amenhotep III.
Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant, then, you will continue your journey to the impressive Temple of Karnak, an enormous complex of temples, chapels, pylons, and other buildings. Finally, you will visit the majestic Temple of Luxor, another impressive complex of temples, chapels, pylons, and other buildings. After a full day of exploring Luxor’s highlights, you will take a flight back to Cairo and transfer to your hotel for for the final night of your 4-day tour of Cairo and Luxor.

On your final day, you’ll visit the Saladin Citadel, a medieval Islamic fortress built in the 12th century. The citadel offers breathtaking views of Cairo and you’ll learn about the history and significance of the citadel in the city’s past. Continue to Coptic Cairo district to visit the Hanging Church, Abu Serga Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue. Finally, you’ll visit the famous Khan El-Khalili Bazaar, one of the oldest markets in Cairo.

Tipping is not included in our tour packages and is left entirely to your discretion. While it is not mandatory, it is greatly appreciated by the people who assist you during your journey.

We do not charge cancellation fees for tours canceled due to ‘force majeure’ events such as natural disasters or other uncontrollable circumstances. However, if you cancel for personal or business reasons after we have incurred booking costs on your behalf, these costs will be charged to you.

No. A traditional Nile cruise (Luxor to Aswan) requires a minimum of 3-4 nights on the river itself. A 4-day total trip length only allows for land-based touring. You can, however, take a short felucca ride in Luxor as a taste of the Nile.
