Day 1 Arrive in Cairo, Egypt

Your romantic journey begins upon arrival at Cairo International Airport. A friendly representative from “Egypt Best Vacations” will be waiting to greet you and guide you through the arrival process, including visa assistance. Relax and leave the formalities to us. We’ll then whisk you comfortably to your hotel, where you can unwind and prepare for the exciting adventures that await you on your 13-day Cairo Nile cruise and Siwa Oasis for honeymooners. 

Day 2Visit Giza Pyramids, Sphinx and Saqqara

Your 13-day Egypt honeymoon tour unfolds as your expert guide whisks you away from your Cairo haven, setting your compass for the awe-inspiring Great Pyramids of Giza, the enigmatic Sphinx, and the ancient mysteries of Saqqara.

Today, you will visit the Giza Plateau. Today’s tour includes the Great Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure with the great Sphinx. The only ancient wonder which still remains (Khufu’s pyramid) awaits you. Today you will learn about the history of the pyramids, how they were constructed, and why they were constructed.

Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant, then on to the first pyramid in history of humanity, the Step Pyramid of King Djoser at Saqqara. Saqqara is one of the most important and richest necropolises in Egypt. It was the cemetery of Memphis, the 1st capital city of United Egypt in 3200 BCE. Then, transfer back to your hotel.

Day 3Egyptian Museum, Saladin Citadel and Khan El-Khalili Tour

You will leave your hotel after breakfast to explore the amazing contents of the Egyptian Museum at Tahrir Square. The museum exhibits hundreds of objects from all periods of Egypt’s history.

Following your visit to the museum, you will drive to the Citadel of Saladin, which was built in 1172 to protect Cairo from the Crusaders. At the citadel, you can visit theWhite Mosque of Mohammed Ali Pasha, which is one of its most prominent features. Your tour will conclude in the largest market in Egypt, Khan El-Khalili, a historical bazaar. Then, return to your hotel for overnight in Cairo.

Day 4Fly to Luxor - Honeymoon Nile River cruise Vacation

Experience Upper Egypt during our 13-day Cairo Nile cruise and Siwa Oasis for honeymooners, where you will delight in a four-night Nile River cruise adventure. So, after your breakfast, you will take a transfer to the Cairo Airport to fly to Luxor, where you will embark on your 4-night honeymoon Nile River cruise from Luxor to Aswan.

You will meet your guide just outside the arrival terminal at Luxor Airport. You will then get to see the largest temple in the world, the Temple of Karnak, which was built by several pharaohs in ancient times. Then to the majestic Temple of Luxor, which is connected to Karnak by the ceremonial avenue of the Sphinxes. These temples were dedicated to Amun, Mut, and Khonsu, the Theban Triad.

Day 5Visit Kings Valley, Hatshepsut Temple and Colossi of Memnon

After breakfast on board, you will explore Luxor’s western side. First, you will explore the magnificent tombs of the Valley of the Kings, where the pharaohs of the New Kingdom were buried to hide from grave robbers. There are 65 tombs in the Valley of the Kings and, your guide will recommend the best three are open to visit. 
You will then drive to the Temple of Hatshepsut, the female pharaoh who served as a solo pharaoh for about 20 years after convincing the people that she was a man. Afterward, you will visit the giant Colossus of Memnon in the Temple of Amenhotep III and then return to your Nile cruise to set sail to Edfu via the Lock of Esna. Overnight in Edfu.

Day 6Explore Edfu & Kom Ombo Temples

Once you’ve finished breakfast, you will take a horse-drawn carriage to visit Edfu’s Temple of Horus, which was built during the Greco-Roman era and it is the most intact temple in Egypt. Following the visit to the temple at Edfu, the ship will sail up to Kom Ombo to visit the twin temple of Sobek, the Crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon god, before visiting the Crocodile Museum near the temple. Following the temple visit, the ship will travel up to Aswan.

Day 7Aswan Tour

Following breakfast, you will start your Aswan tour. The first stop will be the High Dam, which was built in the 1960s to stop floods and generate hydroelectricity. Next, you drive to the granite quarry of the Unfinished Obelisk. Afterward, you will take a motorboat to visit the incredible Temple of Philae, which was built primarily during the Ptolemaic period. As a result of the dam construction, UNESCO had to move the temple to a new location.

Day 8Disembarkation - Fly back to Cairo

Day 9Explore Alexandria Wonders - Marsa Matrouh

Gear up for a poignant and powerful day! Leaving Cairo behind, you embark on a journey through time and terrain. Your destination: Alexandria. Upon arrival, you will visit the famous Roman Catacombs of Kom El-Shoqafa. The catacombs are huge Egyptian tombs and royal cemeteries with Ptolemaic and Roman influences. The catacombs of Kom El-Shoqafa are one the largest Roman burial sites not just in Alexandria but in Egypt. These catacombs started as a private tomb for a wealthy family, then became a public cemetery. The catacombs house more than 300 tombs. 

From the catacombs to the nearby Pompey’s Pillar. Many of the ancient historians did not tell us more details about the “Pompey’s Pillar” but about the buildings that stood nearby and have disappeared now. The hill on which the pillar is erected was covered with temples and houses a long time before the Roman era. It was the place of the Citadel of Rhakotis. A temple was dedicated to Osiris-Serapis was built on the mountain.

From the Pompey’s Pillar to the magnificent Citadel of Qaitbay. The Citadel of Qaitbay in Alexandria is one of the most important fortifications in Egypt. It was constructed by Sultan Al-Ashraf Qaitbay to defend Egypt against the Ottomans/Turks.

You will end your tour to Alexandria wonders by visiting the Library of Alexandria. Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant, then travel to Marsa Matrouh for an overnight.

All our prices are in USD per person per trip. You can also make your payment online through a secure payment gateway with no additional fees or surcharges.

The initial price is based on one adult in a group and reflects the lowest price during the low season.

Tour Voucher

Once your tour is confirmed, we will send you an email with the final tour confirmation and a voucher to print and bring with you. This voucher will include all necessary details, such as customer care contact numbers, the tour operator’s information, and other relevant details for your convenience.

Tipping

Tipping is not included in our tour packages and is left entirely to your discretion. While it is not mandatory, it is greatly appreciated by the people who assist you during your journey.

Children Policy

  • 0 – 1.99 years: Free of charge (unless flights are included).
  • 2 – 5.99 years: Pay 25% of the tour price or 50% if flights or a sleeper train are included.
  • 6 – 11.99 years: Pay 50% of the tour price.
  • 12+ years: Pay the full tour price as an adult.
  • If your tour package includes airfare, additional charges for children may apply.

Cancellation Policy

We do not charge cancellation fees for tours canceled due to ‘force majeure’ events such as natural disasters or other uncontrollable circumstances. However, if you cancel for personal or business reasons after we have incurred booking costs on your behalf, these costs will be charged to you.

  • Less than 30 days before check-in: 100% of the total amount will be charged.
  • 31 to 60 days before check-in: 50% of the total amount will be charged.
  • 61 to 90 days before check-in: 15% of the total amount will be charged.

Deposit and Payment

Between 25-50% to secure your booking through a payment link. Payment can be made via credit or debit card (MasterCard/Visa) through our VeriSign Secured payment system. The remaining balance must be paid in cash to our representative upon the start of your tour.

Extra Expenses & Additional Entry Tickets

Our tours do not include entrance fees for special archaeological sites such as:

  • Walking inside the pyramids.
  • Tombs of Seti I and Ramses V in the Valley of the Kings
  • Entering the Tomb of Tutankhamun in the Valley of the Kings in Luxor.

These attractions require an additional fee. Please contact us if you would like to add or adjust anything in your itinerary.
