Your actual Egypt tour package from India 11 days begins when our professional tour guide picks you up from your hotel to commence your tour to the Great Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx and the GEM Museum.

Today, you will visit the Giza Plateau. Today’s tour includes the Great Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure with the great Sphinx. The only ancient wonder which still remains (Khufu’s pyramid) awaits you. Are you ready to discover it from the inside? (Optional). Today you will learn about the history of the pyramids, how they were constructed, and why they were constructed. 

Savor your lunch at a local restaurant, then proceed to the Grand Egyptian Museum. Explore the world’s largest collection of ancient Egyptian treasures in one stunning modern complex. You’ll stand face-to-face with the full Tutankhamun collection and enjoy immersive galleries that bring Egypt’s history to life. Then, head back to your hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, you will visit the Citadel of the Sunni Muslim leader Saladin. A fort was built in 1172 to protect Cairo against the Crusaders. The White Mosque of Mohammed Ali Pasha is a prominent feature of the citadel. Continue to the Coptic Cairo District to visit the Hanging Church. The Hanging Church is one of the most famous Christian landmarks in Old Cairo. It is known for its beautiful wooden ceiling, historic icons, and unique location above the Babylon Fortress.

Proceed to Abu Serga Church. Abu Serga Church is one of the oldest churches in Old Cairo and a major stop on the Holy Family route in Egypt. It is especially revered because tradition says the Holy Family stayed in a cave beneath the church during their journey in Egypt. End your Coptic Cairo tour at the Ben Ezra Synagogue. Ben Ezra Synagogue is one of the most important Jewish landmarks in Old Cairo. It is famous for its rich history and for the Geniza documents that revealed valuable details about daily life in the medieval Middle East.

You will finish your tour today at the historical bazaar of Khan El-Khalili, the largest bazaar in the Middle East. Then, return to your hotel.

A remarkable Nile cruise holiday beckons! You will spend the next four days of your 11-day Egypt tour from India on board a Nile River cruise. So, you will take a transfer to Cairo Airport to fly to Aswan to begin your 3-night Nile River cruise from Aswan to Luxor. Meet your guide just outside the arrival terminal at Aswan Airport to commence your Aswan tour. 

Visit the High Dam. This dam was built to protect Egypt against floods and to generate hydropower. Then, proceed to the beautiful Temple of Isis at Philae Island. Philae Temple was built primarily during the Ptolemaic period and is one of the most incredible temples in Egypt. It was due to the construction of the two dams in Aswan that UNESCO had to relocate the temple. End your Aswan tour at the granite quarry of the Unfinished Obelisk. Learn how the ancient Egyptians fashioned their obelisks and statues of gods and kings. Then, transfer to your Nile cruise ship. Overnight in Aswan.

Enjoy a free morning on board your cruise ship or join us on an optional tour to the phenomenal temples of Abu Simbel.

Your Nile cruise ship will set sail to Kom Ombo around the lunchtime. Disembark at Kom Ombo to visit the twin Temple of Horus and Sobek. The right part of the temple is dedicated to Sobek (Crocodile deity), his consort Hathor and their son Khonsu. The left part of the temple is dedicated to Horus the Elder (Heru-ur or Haroeris), his consort Tasenetnofret (“the good sister”), and their son Panebtawy (the Lord of the Two Lands). Enjoy a short visit to the Crocodile Museum before you go back to your river cruise to set sail to Edfu. Overnight in Edfu.

Before your breakfast, you will take a horse and carriage to the Temple of Horus in Edfu. This temple is very intact and fully inscribed with reliefs and hieroglyphs on its exterior and interior walls. Visiting Edfu Temple adds a great value to your Cairo Nile cruise and Hurghada package from India. Take your carriage back to your cruise ship to set sail to Luxor via the Lock of Esna. 

Upon arrival in Luxor, you will visit the Temple of Karnak. It is the largest temple in Egypt. Its vast halls, towering columns, and sacred sanctuaries reveal the greatness of Thebes during the New Kingdom. Then, proceed to the majestic Temple of Luxor. Luxor Temple is one of the most beautiful ancient temples in Egypt. Built mainly by Amenhotep III and Ramses II. It was dedicated to the rejuvenation of kingship and the glory of ancient Thebes. Both temples were dedicated to Theban Triad; Amun, Mut and Khonsu.

Disembarkation, followed by visiting the magnificent tombs of the Valley of the Kings. Here, the pharaohs of the New Kingdom period were buried to be hidden from the tomb robbers. Your guide will recommend the best three tombs to visit. Then, proceed to the unique Temple of the female pharaoh Hatshepsut, who ruled Egypt for about 20 yeas as a sole pharaoh. Its grand terraces, elegant design, and dramatic setting against the cliffs of Deir El-Bahari. End your Luxor West Bank tour at the Colossi of Memnon of Amenhotep III. Two giant statues once, they stood in front of the main gate of the temple.

Transfer to Hurghada to enjoy some relaxation on the next three days of your Egypt holiday package from India 11 days. Enjoy some beach activities and explore the magnificent underwater world of the Red Sea.
