Enjoy a full-day tour to the very famous Petra ruins. Inhabited since prehistoric times, this Nabataean caravan-city, situated between the Red Sea and the Dead Sea, was an important crossroads between Arabia, Egypt, and Syria-Phoenicia. Petra is half-built, half-carved into the rock, and surrounded by mountains riddled with passages and gorges. It is one of the world’s most famous archaeological sites, where ancient Eastern traditions blend with Hellenistic architecture. Then, transfer back to your hotel.

Visit the ruined City of Jerash, the largest and most interesting Roman site in Jordan. Jerash or Jarash, is one of the world’s best preserved ancient Roman sites. Once known as Gerasa, Jerash is believed to have been inhabited since the Neolithic Era. However, it is the impressive Roman city built in Jerash which has left its greatest mark on the area, becoming Jordan’s second most popular tourist site after Petra.
Then proceed to the Greek Church of Saint George. The Church of Saint George at Madaba is an early Byzantine church also Known as the “Church of the Map”. You will finish your day at Mount Nebo where Moses was buried according to Christian traditions. Then, transfer to your hotel in Dead Sea city.

Today, you will visit the Giza Plateau. Today’s tour includes the Great Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure with the great Sphinx. The only ancient wonder which still remains (Khufu’s pyramid) awaits you. Today you will learn about the history of the pyramids, how they were constructed, and why they were constructed.
Then on to the first pyramid in history of humanity, the Step Pyramid of King Djoser at Saqqara. Saqqara is one of the most important and richest necropolises in Egypt. It was the cemetery of Memphis, the 1st capital city of United Egypt in 3200 BCE. Then, transfer back to your hotel.

An amazing Nile cruise vacation awaits! Get ready to trade land for legendary waters, because the next four days of your 11-day Egypt & Jordan trip will be spent gliding down the majestic Nile River! This iconic cruise promises to be a tapestry woven with ancient wonders, timeless beauty, and the gentle rhythm of the river. So, we will transfer you to Cairo Airport to fly to Aswan to begin your 3-night Nile River cruise from Aswan to Luxor.
Explore the highlights of the beautiful City of Aswan. Your first stop will be at the High Dam, one of the great engineering feats of the 1960s. Then proceed to the beautiful Temple of Isis at Philae Island. The temple was built during the Greco-Roman era and, was dedicated to Isis, goddess of Love and Magic in ancient Egypt. You will end your Aswan tour at the granite quarry of the Unfinished Obelisk. Then, transfer to your Nile cruise ship. Overnight in Aswan.

Enjoy a free morning on board your cruise ship or join us on an optional tour to the phenomenal temples of Abu Simbel.
Your Nile cruise ship will set sail to Kom Ombo around the lunchtime. Disembark at Kom Ombo to visit the twin Temple of Horus and Sobek. The temple was built over the ruined temple of the New Kingdom. The temple began during the time of Ptolemy V and was completed by the time of Emperor Tiberius. The emperors Domitian, Caracalla, and others added to the temple. So it took about 400 years to finish.
Enjoy a short visit to the Crocodile Museum, before you go back to your Nile cruise ship to set sail to Edfu. Overnight in Edfu.

Before/After breakfast, you will take a horse and carriage to visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu. The temple is very intact, none of its elements are missing but the Sacred Lake and two obelisks. The Temple of Edfu is fully inscribed with reliefs and hieroglyphs on its exterior and interior walls.
Take your carriage back to your Nile cruise ship to set sail to Luxor via the Lock of Esna. Upon arrival in Luxor, you will visit the impressive Temple of Karnak and the majestic Temple of Luxor. Both were dedicated to Amun, Mut, and Khonsu. Overnight in Luxor.

Disembarkation, followed by Luxor West Bank tour. Visit the magnificent Valley of the Kings, where pharaohs of the New Kingdom were buried. There are 65 tombs there, and your guide will recommend the best three to visit. From the Valley of the Kings to the unique Temple of the female pharaoh Hatshepsut, who ruled Egypt for about 20 years as a sole pharaoh. You will end your tour with a photo stop at the giant Colossi of Memnonof Amenhotep III.
Transfer to Luxor Airport to fly back to Cairo. Transfer from Cairo Airport to your hotel for the last two nights of your 11-day Egypt & Jordan vacation.

Explore the fantastic contents of the historical Egyptian Museum at Tahrir Square in Cairo. Hundreds of objects from all periods of the Egyptian past are displayed on the two floors of the museum.
From the museum to the Citadel of Saladin, a Sunni Muslim leader. It was built in 1172 to protect Cairo from the Crusaders. The White Mosque of Mohammed Ali Pasha is a prominent feature of the Citadel. You will finish your tour today at the historical bazaar of Khan El-Khalili, the largest bazaar in the Middle East. Then, transfer back to your hotel for the final night of your 11-day Egypt and Jordan tour.
