Our Sharm El-Sheikh vacation packages are complete Egypt tours of 5 to 12 days, and each one begins in Cairo. You see the Pyramids of Giza with an Egyptologist guide, fly about an hour to Sharm El-Sheikh, and spend two to four nights at an all-inclusive resort on the Red Sea. The flights inside Egypt, the hotels, the transfers and the guided days are in one price, from $1,015 per person.
The large booking sites sell Sharm as a flight and a hotel room. We are a licensed Egyptian tour operator with our own office in Luxor (Standard Tours, tourism licence no. 1082), founded by Egyptologist Essam Ali, and we sell the journey that puts ancient Egypt and the sea in the same holiday. The packages differ in how much of Egypt comes before the beach. The shorter ones cover Cairo. One adds a night in Luxor, and the longest adds Alexandria, a Nile cruise and Abu Simbel. Compare them in the table, then open the tour page for the day-by-day plan.

Great tour. Our guide Essam was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and articulated the tour well. Offering our group good advice on how to customize our tour based on our interests. He was sure to warn us on all potential scams aswell as unnecessary/non affiliated persons. He also went above by making our restaurant reservations for us.

Sharm El-Sheikh vacation packages with Egypt Best Vacations include hotel nights in Cairo and an all-inclusive resort in Sharm El-Sheikh, airport transfers, guided sightseeing in Cairo with entrance fees, and the flights between Cairo and Sharm El-Sheikh where the tour page lists them. Longer packages add Luxor, Alexandria or a Nile cruise. International flights, the entry visa, tips and optional activities such as diving and boat trips are not included.

Yes. The free Sinai-only stamp covers only the Sinai resorts for 15 days and is not valid for Cairo, Luxor or a Nile cruise. All our packages start in Cairo, so you need the full Egyptian tourist visa. It costs US$30 on arrival at Cairo airport, or you can apply for an e-visa before you travel.
By air. The flight takes about one hour, and our packages are planned around it. A driver takes you to Cairo airport and another meets you in Sharm El-Sheikh and takes you to your resort.
Seven or eight days suits most guests: two full touring days in Cairo and three or four nights by the sea. With five days you can see the Pyramids and still have two nights in Sharm El-Sheikh. With eight days you can add a night in Luxor, and with twelve you can add Alexandria, a Nile cruise and Abu Simbel.
Yes. Your nights in Sharm El-Sheikh are at a five-star resort on an all-inclusive basis, with breakfast, lunch and dinner at the resort. Each tour page states the meal count and whether drinks are included. In Cairo, standard packages include breakfast.
Packages of seven days and longer run as small groups of no more than 16 guests, and you can book any of them as a private tour on request. The 5-day luxury package is always private.
Sharm El-Sheikh is sunny all year. October, November and March to May give warm weather in both Sharm and Cairo. December to February is mild in Sharm and the best season for touring Cairo and Luxor. June to September is very hot but popular for diving and snorkelling.
Yes. Many resorts have shallow, sheltered beaches, pools and children’s clubs. The 7 Day Family Vacations to Egypt: Cairo & Sharm El-Sheikh package keeps Cairo to one touring day and gives the rest of the week to the beach. On packages with domestic flights, children under 3 pay 30%, ages 3 to 5 pay 40% and ages 6 to 11 pay 50% of the adult price.
Yes. Mount Sinai and St Catherine’s Monastery are about three hours from Sharm El-Sheikh by road. The usual visit leaves at night and reaches the summit for sunrise. It is included in the 12-day package and can be added to any other package as an optional tour.
Choose Sharm El-Sheikh for reefs close to the shore, Ras Mohammed National Park and Mount Sinai. It is reached by air from Cairo or Luxor. Choose Hurghada if your trip centres on Luxor or a Nile cruise, because it is about four hours from Luxor by road.
