A private Sharm El Sheikh airport transfer from Egypt Best Vacations costs $25 per vehicle for one to three people, with your driver waiting outside the arrival terminal holding a name board. The price is fixed, covers the whole vehicle rather than each passenger, and does not change if your flight lands late.
Sharm El-Sheikh International Airport sits close to the resort strip, so most hotels are between ten and thirty minutes away. Naama Bay is about fifteen minutes, Sharks Bay and Nabq Bay around ten to fifteen, Hadaba and Ras Um Sid roughly twenty, and the Old Market at Sharm El Maya about twenty-five to thirty.
We track your flight, so a delay costs you nothing and there is no need to message us from the runway. If you clear passport control faster than expected, the driver is already there.
Egypt Best Vacations is a licensed Egyptian tour operator and a three-time consecutive TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice winner. Every vehicle is an air-conditioned tourist vehicle with the licensing and insurance that requires, which is not something you can assume of a taxi negotiated at the kerb.
Book your Sharm El Sheikh airport transfer and start the holiday in the car, not in the queue.
Sharm El-Sheikh International Airport (SSH) has two terminals. Most international arrivals use Terminal 1.
The order on arrival is passport control, then baggage reclaim, then customs, then out through the terminal doors. Your driver waits outside the arrival terminal, holding a board with your name on it. He is not inside the building, so come all the way out before you start looking for him.
If you cannot find him, call or WhatsApp the number on your booking confirmation before leaving the terminal building. Someone answers 24 hours a day.
This is the question we are asked most, and the answer depends entirely on where you are going after the airport.
Travelers arriving at Sharm El-Sheikh who are staying within the South Sinai resort area may be issued a free entry permit valid for up to 15 days. It covers Sharm El-Sheikh, Dahab, Nuweiba, Taba and St Catherine.
That permit does not cover the rest of Egypt. If your trip includes Cairo, the Pyramids, Luxor or a Nile cruise, you need the full Egyptian tourist visa, currently $30, bought at the bank window before passport control. Buy it on arrival rather than assuming you can upgrade later, because sorting it out afterwards is slow.
Rules vary by nationality and change from time to time. Tell us your plans and your passport country when you book and we will tell you which one you need.
All our prices are in USD per person per trip. You can also make your payment online through a secure payment gateway with no additional fees or surcharges. We accept USD, Euros, GBP, CAD, AUD and NZD. The starting price is per group of people.
Tipping is not included in our tour packages and is left entirely to your discretion. While it is not mandatory, it is greatly appreciated by the people who assist you during your journey.
Here is a suggested tipping list:
Driver – more than 2 hour transfer $3-5 per person.
Driver – less than 2 hour transfer $1-3 per person.
Free cancellation is available up to 48 hours before the arrival date.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before arrival are subject to a 50% charge.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before arrival are non-refundable, and 100% of the transfer price will be charged.
A deposit between 25-50% is required to secure your booking through a payment link. The remaining balance will also be paid through payment links.
We don’t provide a travel insurance. We recommend to buy it beforehand if you want
$25 per vehicle for one to three people, $40 for four to seven, and $80 for eight to sixteen. The price is per vehicle, so a family of four pays $40 in total, not $40 each. It covers any hotel in the Sharm El-Sheikh area, including Naama Bay, Nabq Bay and Sharks Bay.
Between ten and thirty minutes for almost every Sharm hotel. Sharks Bay and Nabq Bay are the closest at around ten to fifteen minutes, Naama Bay is about fifteen, Hadaba and Ras Um Sid around twenty, and the Old Market at Sharm El Maya roughly twenty-five to thirty.
Outside the arrival terminal, holding a board with your name on it. Clear passport control, collect your luggage and walk out through the doors. He will be waiting there rather than inside the building. If you cannot find him, call or WhatsApp the number on your confirmation.
Nothing on your side. We track your flight and adjust the pickup time, at no extra cost. Delayed arrivals are normal at Sharm and the driver waits.
Private. The vehicle carries your group only, it leaves when you are ready, and it goes straight to your hotel with no other stops.
If you are staying only within South Sinai, which covers Sharm, Dahab, Nuweiba, Taba and St Catherine, you may be issued a free 15-day entry permit. If your trip goes on to Cairo, Luxor or anywhere else in Egypt, you need the full tourist visa, currently $30, bought before passport control. Rules vary by nationality, so tell us your plans when you book.
