Day 1 Arrival in Luxor, Egypt - Karnak & Luxor Temples

Arrival at Luxor International Airport, meet and assist by our representative of “Egypt Best Vacations” who will help you through the visa regulations. Meet your guide just outside the arrival terminal to begin your Egypt 8-day itinerary from Malaysia & Singapore.

Explore the largest temple in the world, the Temple of Karnak, and the majestic Temple of Luxor. Both temples were dedicated to the Theban Triad of Amun, Mut, and Khonsu.
Transfer to your Nile cruise ship to begin 4 nights River Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan. Overnight in Luxor.

Day 2Kings Valley, Hatshepsut Temple and Colossi of Memnon

Today, you will visit the glorious tombs of the Valley of the Kings. The pharaohs during the New Kingdom ceased building pyramids and cut their tombs deep into the mountain trying to hide them from grave robbers. There are 65 tombs in the Valley of the Kings, your guide will recommend the best 3 tombs of the ones open to visit.
From the glorious Valley of the Kings to the unique Temple of the female pharaoh Hatshepsut who served as a solo pharaoh for about 20 years.
You will end your trip at the giant Colossi of Memnon which survives from the Temple of pharaoh Amenhotep III. Back to your cruise ship to set sail to Edfu via the Lock of Esna. Overnight in Edfu.

Day 3Edfu & Kom Ombo temples

Enjoy your breakfast then, take a horse carriage to the Temple of Horus in Edfu. This temple is the most intact temple in Egypt and was built during the Greco-Roman period. The Temple of Edfu is fully inscribed with reliefs and hieroglyphs on its exterior and interior walls.

Take your carriage back to your Nile cruise ship to set sail to Kom Ombo. Disembark in Kom Ombo to visit the twin Temple of Sobek, the Crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon god. Then proceed to the Crocodile Museum in the vicinity of the temple. After the tour, the ship will sail up to Aswan where it moors for the next two days.

Day 4Aswan Tour

Breakfast, then visit the great highlights of Aswan. Visit the High Dam, which is regarded as one of the most significant engineering feats of the twentieth century. Aswan High Dam was built to save water and protect Egypt from the Nile’s high and low floods and to generate electricity. Continue to the beautiful Temple of Philae. Philae Temple or the temple of Isis at Philae Island in Aswan is one of the most beautiful temples in Egypt and known as the “Pearl of Egypt”.

End your tour at the granite quarry of the Unfinished Obelisk. Here, you will learn how the ancient Egyptians fashioned their obelisks and statues of gods and Kings. Transfer back to your river cruise. Overnight in Aswan.

Day 5Fly to Cairo

Disembarkation, then transfer to Aswan Airport to fly to Cairo for the rest of your Egypt 8-day itinerary from Malaysia & Singapore. Transfer from Cairo Airport to your hotel in Cairo.

Day 6Giza Great Pyramids, Sphinx and Saqqara

Today, you will explore the Giza Plateau. Today’s tour includes the Great Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure with the great Sphinx. The only ancient wonder which still exists (Khufu’s pyramid) awaits you. Are you ready to explore it from the inside?
Today you will learn about the history of the pyramids, how they were built, and why they were built. Then on to the first pyramid in history of mankind, the Step Pyramid of King Djoser at Saqqara. Saqqara is one of the most important and richest necropolises in Egypt. It was the cemetery of Memphis, the 1st capital city of United Egypt in 3200 BCE.

Transfer back to your hotel.

Day 7Egyptian Museum, Saladin Citadel and Khan El-Khalili

Explore the fabulous contents of the historical Egyptian Museum at Tahrir Square in Cairo. Thousands of artifacts from all periods of Egyptian history are displayed on the two floors of the museum.
From the museum to the Citadel of the Sunni Muslim leader Saladin, which was built in 1172 to defend Cairo against the Crusaders. The White Mosque of Mohammed Ali Pasha is a prominent feature of the Citadel. Finish your tour today at the historical bazaar of Khan El-Khalili, the largest bazaar in the Middle East.
