Your Egypt 5-day holiday takes you to Aswan. Take a transfer from your hotel to Cairo Airport to fly to Aswan. Meet your guide just outside the arrival terminal at Aswan Airport to commence your Aswan tour. Your first stop will be at the High Dam, a dam built in the 1960s, to generate hydroelectricity and to stop floods. Then proceed to explore the Temple of Philae, which was built primarily during the Ptolemaic period and is one of the most incredible temples in Egypt. Early wakeup with a breakfast box to travel to Abu Simbel (3.5 hours). Once you arrive in Abu Simbel, you will visit the phenomenal temples of Pharaoh Ramses II and his beloved wife, Queen Nefertari. The temples of Abu Simbel are considered among the most celebrated achievements of ancient Egypt. The two temples were cut in the cliffs about 310 Km south of Aswan.
