Your actual Egypt Easter trip  begins when our professional tour guide picks you up from your hotel to commence your tour to the Great Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx and Saqqara.

Explore the fantastic contents of the historical Egyptian Museum at Tahrir Square in Cairo. Hundreds of objects from all periods of Egypt’s past are displayed on the two floors of the museum. Then proceed to Coptic Cairo suburb for an Easter spiritual tour.

Witness the beauty of the magnificent Hanging Church, which was built on the top of one of the towers of  Roman Babylon Fortress. Continue your Cairo spiritual tour to Abu Serga Church, where the holy family was hiding for three months in a cave under this church. Conclude your tour at the Ben Ezra Synagogue, the largest synagogue in Egypt. 

Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant, then proceed to Khan El-Khalili Bazaar, the largest bazaar in the middle east for some shopping. Then, return to your hotel for dinner and overnight in Cairo.

A breathtaking Ester Nile cruise vacation beckons! Early breakfast in the hotel before flying to Aswan to begin your 3-night Easter Nile River Cruise from Aswan to Luxor which is the most beautiful part of your 11-day Egypt Easter itinerary. Meet your guide just outside the arrival terminal at Aswan Airport to commence your Aswan tour.

Your first stop will be at the High Dam, a dam built in the 1960s, to generate hydroelectricity and to stop floods. Then take a motorboat to explore the Temple of Philae, which was built primarily during the Ptolemaic period and is one of the most incredible Temples in Egypt. It was due to the construction of the two dams in Aswan that UNESCO had to relocate the temple. End your journey at the granite quarry of the Unfinished Obelisk. Then, transfer to your Nile cruise ship. Overnight in Aswan.

After or before breakfast, you will be taken in a horse-drawn carriage to visit Edfu’s Temple of Horus, which was built during the Greco-Roman era and is the most intact temple in Egypt. Afterward the cruise will sail from Edfu via the Lock of Esna on its way to Luxor.

Once you reach Luxor, you will have the chance to see the largest temple in Egypt, the Temple of Karnak, built by several pharaohs in ancient times, as well as the majestic Temple of Luxor, which is  connected to Karnak by the ceremonial Sphinxes Avenue.
