Day 1 Arrive in Cairo, Egypt

Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will meet and assist by our representative of “Egypt Best Vacations” who will help you through the arrival and visa regulations. Transfer to your hotel and the beginning of your 11-day Cairo, Petra and Jerusalem Tour.

Day 2Visit Giza Pyramids, Sphinx and GEM Museum

Get ready for an incredible journey through ancient Egyptian history! Today we embark on a thrilling adventure to two of Egypt’s most captivating landmarks.

First stop: the awe-inspiring Giza Plateau. Here, you’ll stand in the shadow of the legendary Great Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure. These colossal structures are a testament to the ingenuity and power of ancient Egypt. Prepare to be mesmerized by the enigmatic Sphinx, the guardian who stands watch over these timeless wonders. 

Savor your lunch at a local restaurant, then continue to the Grand Egyptian Museum. Explore the world’s largest collection of ancient Egyptian treasures in one stunning modern complex. You’ll stand face-to-face with the full Tutankhamun collection and enjoy immersive galleries that bring Egypt’s history to life. Then, transfer back to your hotel.

Day 3Spiritual Cairo Tour

Today, you will visit the most important religious buildings in Cairo with our Cairo spiritual tour. You will visit Saint Virgin Mary’s Coptic Orthodox Church also known as the Hanging Church, which is one of the oldest churches in Egypt, the history of a church on this site dates to the third century. Continue to Saints Sergius and Bacchus Church also known as Abu Serga, one of the oldest Coptic churches in Egypt, dating back to the 4th century. Proceed to the Ben Ezra Synagogue, one of the oldest and largest synagogues in Egypt. Then, return back to your hotel.

Day 4Cairo - Amman

Transfer to Cairo Airport for your connection flight to Amman, for the second leg of your 11-day Cairo, Petra and Jerusalem tour. You will be met upon arrival at Amman Airport by one of our representatives and transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 5Visit Gadara, Jerash & Ajloun Castle

Today you will commence you tour to the ancient city of Gadara (Umm Qais) boasting spectacular views of the Yarmouk Valley, the Golan Heights, and the Sea of Galilee. Gadara is known for its Roman theatres, fountains, underground water wells and more. The site of Gadara was also an important stop during the Ottoman era and was inhabited by locals until 1989.

You will then visit the ruined city of Jerash, Jordan’s largest and most interesting Roman site. The imposing ceremonial gates, colonnaded avenues, temples and theatres all speak to the time when this was an important imperial center. Finally you will stop to see Ajloun Castle, a superb example of Arab-Islamic military architecture which has stood for centuries retaining significance since the time of the Crusades built originally by Salah al Din in 1184/1185. Overnight in Amman.

Day 6Explore Bethany, Madaba & Mount Nebo

Your tour today commences with a visit to Bethany, the site of John the Baptist’s settlement at Bethany where Jesus was baptized. The Bethany area sites formed part of the early Christian pilgrimage route between Jerusalem, the Jordan River, and Mount Nebo. You will then visit Saint George’s Church, this 19th-century Greek Orthodox church houses a treasure of early Christianity. Found on this site was a stunning mosaic map, crafted in 560 AD. The map represents the oldest map of Palestine in existence it has 157 captions (in Greek) depicting all the major biblical sites of the Middle East, from Egypt to Palestine. Following this you will visit Mount Nebo where Moses is said to have stood and overlooked the Holy Land and where according to Christian tradition Moses was buried. Overnight in Amman.

Day 7Visit the Lost City of Petra

Today you have a full day exploring Petra known as the Rose Red City. This remarkable city of temples and houses was carved out of the sheer rock some 2,000 years ago by a nomadic people called the Nabataeans. From this stone stronghold, they were able to control the ancient trade routes of Arabia, establishing a kingdom that became known for its exquisite architecture and refined culture. Making your way on foot through a slim fissure in the rock of the ‘Siq’ mountains you will encounter the dramatic treasury plus the Street of Facades, the Court House and the Amphitheatre. If there is time you can even climb the 1,200 steps to the Monastery. Following your tour, you will then be driven back to your hotel in Amman.

Day 8Jordan to Israel

After checking out of your hotel, you will drive via the border crossing (Allenby Bridge/King Hussein Border) then drive toJerusalem via the Judean Desert for the final leg of your 11-day Cairo Petra and Jerusalem tour. On arrival at the Holy City, you will be driven directly to your hotel for check in.

Day 9Visit Jerusalem and Bethlehem

You tour today will start with a visit to the Mount of Olives before walking the short distance to the Wailing Wall which is one of the holiest sites in Judaism. This is followed by a visit to the Via Dolorosa through the Stations of the Cross, to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre which is believed to be the site where Jesus was crucified and later buried. You will then transfer to Bethlehem the city where Christianity began, and Jesus was born. You will visit the Church of the Nativity and the Grotto of the Manger. Finally, you will transfer back to Jerusalem and your hotel.

Day 10Visit Masada and Dead Sea

Your tour commences today with a journey to Masada where you will take a cable car ride to the top of the mountain to see the remnants of an ancient fortress built by King Herod. After exploring the ruins you will take drive along the shoreline to the Dead Sea lies in the Jordan Valley at the lowest point on earth. It has attracted visitors from around the Mediterranean Basin for thousands of years. As one of the world’s first health resorts Herod the Great was said to have bathed here. Here you can spend your time sunbathing, relaxing and floating in the water before we transfer you back to your hotel.

Pricing Policy

All our prices are in USD per person per trip. You can also make your payment online through a secure payment gateway with no additional fees or surcharges. We accept USD, Euros, GBP, CAD, AUD and NZD.

The starting price is for one adult in a twin room on a group tour. It shows the lowest price during the low season. There’s a single supplement for single accommodation.

Tour Voucher

Once your tour is confirmed, we will send you an email with the final tour confirmation and a voucher to print and bring with you. This voucher will include all necessary details, such as customer care contact numbers, the tour operator’s information, and other relevant details for your convenience.

Tipping

Tipping is not included in our tour packages and is left entirely to your discretion. While it is not mandatory, it is greatly appreciated by the people who assist you during your journey.

Children Policy

  • Children from 0-2 years pay 30% of the adult price.
  • Children from 3-5 years pay 40% of the adult price.
  • Children from 6-11 years pay 50% of the adult price.
  • Children from 12 years pay adult price.

Cancellation Policy

We do not charge cancellation fees for tours canceled due to ‘force majeure’ events such as natural disasters or other uncontrollable circumstances. However, if you cancel for personal or business reasons after we have incurred booking costs on your behalf, these costs will be charged to you.

  • From the date of booking up to 75 days before the date of your arrival, 10% of the total tour price will be charged.
  • Between 74 and 61 days before your arrival date, 25% of the total tour price will be charged.
  • Between 60 and 30 days before your arrival date, 50% of the total tour price will be charged.
  • Between 29 and 15 days before your arrival date, 75% of the total tour price will be charged.
  • Between 14 and 08 days before your arrival date, 90% of the total tour price will be charged.
  • Between 07 and 1 day before your arrival date, 100% of the total tour price will be charged.

Deposit and Payment

Between 25-50% to secure your booking through a payment link. Payment can be made via credit or debit card (MasterCard/Visa) through our VeriSign Secured payment system. The remaining balance must be paid in cash to our representative upon the start of your tour.

Extra Expenses & Additional Entry Tickets

Our tours do not include entrance fees for special archaeological sites such as:

  • Walking inside the pyramids.
  • Tombs of Seti I and Ramses V in the Valley of the Kings
  • Entering the Tomb of Tutankhamun in the Valley of the Kings in Luxor.

These attractions require an additional fee. Please contact us if you would like to add or adjust anything in your itinerary.
