Overnight in Cairo
Early breakfast in the hotel before flying to Aswan to begin your 3-night solo Nile River Cruise from Aswan to Luxor which is the most beautiful part of your 6 days Egypt solo tour package. Meet your guide just outside the arrival terminal at Aswan Airport to commence your tour. Your first stop will be at the High Dam, a dam built in the 1960s, to generate hydroelectricity and to stop floods. Then take a motorboat to explore the Temple of Philae, which was built primarily during the Ptolemaic period and is one of the most incredible Temples in Egypt. It was due to the construction of the two dams in Aswan that UNESCO had to relocate the temple. End your journey at the granite quarry of the Unfinished Obelisk.

Enjoy a free morning onboard your Nile cruise ship or join us on an optional tour of the phenomenal temples of Abu Simbel.
In the afternoon the ship sails down to Kom Ombo where you can visit the temple which the Egyptians dedicated to gods, Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon god. At the end of your tour, you will have a short visit to the Crocodile Museum then the Nile cruise ship will proceed down to Edfu, where it will dock.

After or before breakfast, you will be taken in a horse-drawn carriage to visit Edfu’s Temple of Horus, which was built during the Greco-Roman era and is the most intact temple in Egypt. Afterward the cruise will sail from Edfu via the Lock of Esna on its way to Luxor.
Once you reach Luxor, you will have the chance to see the largest temple in Egypt, the Temple of Karnak, built by several pharaohs in ancient times, as well as the majestic Temple of Luxor, which is connected to Karnak by the ceremonial avenue of the Sphinx which was recently restored. These temples were dedicated to Amun, Mut, and Khonsu, the Theban Triad.

The White Mosque of Mohammed Ali Pasha is a prominent feature of the citadel. You will finish your tour today at the historical bazaar of Khan El-Khalili, the largest bazaar in the Middle East.
