Early breakfast in the hotel before flying to Aswan to explore the highlights of this beautiful city. Meet your guide just outside the arrival terminal at Aswan Airport to commence your tour. Your first stop will be at the High Dam, a dam built in the 1960s, to generate hydroelectricity and to stop floods. Then take a motorboat to explore the Temple of Philae, which was built primarily during the Ptolemaic period and is one of the most incredible Temples in Egypt. It was due to the construction of the two dams in Aswan that UNESCO had to relocate the temple. End your journey at the granite quarry of the Unfinished Obelisk.  Then, transfer to your your hotel. Once you arrive in Abu Simbel, you will visit the phenomenal temples of Pharaoh Ramses II and his beloved wife, Queen Nefertari. Then, drive back to Aswan train station to board your seated train to Luxor. Transfer from Luxor train station to your hotel in Luxor. Overnight in Luxor. 

After your breakfast at the hotel, you will explore the western side of Luxor.
