Itinerary
5 Day Egypt Itinerary From UAE & Arabian Gulf

Day 1Arrival in Luxor, Egypt - Visit Karnak and Luxor temples

One of Egypt Best Vacations representatives will meet you at Luxor International Airport to help you through the arrival and visa regulations. Meet your guide outside the arrival terminal to begin your 5-day Egypt itinerary from UAE & Arabian Gulf. Enjoy a guided tour to Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple.

Visit the Temple/Complex of Karnak which was the great god’s chief sanctuary and much larger than any other monument in Egypt. This huge and splendid complex which actually contains many separate temples covers 1700 years of expansion and an area of 300 acres.

Then, proceed to the majestic Luxor Temple. The Temple of Luxor was built by the 18th Dynasty pharaoh Amenhotep III (1387-1349 BCE), the grandson of the military genius Tuthmosis III, and expanded by the 19th Dynasty pharaoh Ramses II (1279-1213 BCE). Numerous other sovereigns, including Tutankhamun, Horemhab, and Alexander the Great enriched the construction with reliefs, inscriptions, and minor buildings.

Transfer to your hotel in Luxor.

Day 2Kings Valley, Hatshepsut Temple and Colossi of Memnon

After your breakfast at the hotel, you will explore the western side of Luxor. In the first part of your tour, you’ll have the chance to explore the magnificent tombs found in the Valley of the Kings, where the pharaohs of the New Kingdom were buried to keep them hidden from grave robbers. A total of 65 tombs can be found in the Valley of the Kings. Your guide will recommend the top three tombs that are open to the public that you should visit.

Then, transfer to the Temple of Hatshepsut, the female pharaoh who served as a solo pharaoh for about 20 years after convincing the people that she was a man. We will then visit the Colossi of Memnon which lies in the Temple of Amenhotep III.

Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant, then transfer to Aswan. Overnight in Aswan.

Optional tour: Sunrise Hot Air Ballooning Over Luxor

Day 3Abu Simbel Temples

Today, your 5-day Egypt itinerary from UAE takes to the phenomenal temples of Abu Simbel. So, take a transfer (3.5 hours) from Aswan to Abu Simbel. Enjoy touring the temples with your tour guide. The temples of Abu Simbel are considered among the most celebrated achievements of ancient Egypt. The two temples were cut in the cliffs about 310 Km south of Aswan. The Great Temple was built for Ramses II (1279-1213 BC), while the Small Temple was built for his beloved wife, Queen Nefertari.

Because of the rising water of Aswan High Dam, the temples had to be saved and rescued in a magnificent world rescue operation of temples in Lower Nubia. Then transfer back to your hotel in Aswan.

Day 4Aswan Tour - Fly to Cairo

Explore the highlights of this beautiful city. Your first stop will be at the High Dam, a dam built in the 1960s, to generate hydroelectricity and to stop floods. Then, explore the Temple of Philae, which was built primarily during the Ptolemaic period and is one of the most incredible temples in Egypt. It was due to the construction of the two dams in Aswan that UNESCO had to relocate the temple. End your journey at the granite quarry of the Unfinished Obelisk

Transfer to Aswan Airport to fly to Cairo. Transfer from Cairo Airport to your hotel in Cairo for the final night of your 5-day Egypt itinerary from UAE & Arabian Gulf.

Day 5End of your 5-day Egypt itinerary from UAE & Arabian Gulf

It is your last day in Egypt, but it will be a fabulous day when you visit the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Egyptian Museum. Enjoy a guided tour to the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. Your Egyptologist tour guide will explain to you how and why the Ancient Egyptian kings built the Pyramids. He will tell you about the mystery behind the pyramids.

Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant then proceed to the Egyptian Museum. Explore the fantastic contents of the historical Egyptian Museum at Tahrir Square in Cairo. Hundreds of objects from all periods of Egypt’s past are displayed on the two floors of the museum.
