The second day of your 4-day Egypt tour of Cairo & Aswan takes you to the beautiful city of Aswan. So, you will take a transfer from your hotel to Cairo Airport to fly to Aswan. Meet your guide outside the arrival terminal to commence your Aswan tour.
Visit the High Dam, which is regarded as one of the most significant engineering feats of the twentieth century. Aswan High Dam was built to save water and protect Egypt from the Nile’s high and low floods. Then proceed to the wonderful Temple of Philae. Philae Temple or the temple of Isis at Philae Island in Aswan is one of the most beautiful temples in Egypt. It is known as the “Pearl of Egypt”. The temple is located on an island, so it requires a short boat ride. End your Aswan tour at the granite quarry of the Unfinished Obelisk. Then, transfer to your hotel.

So, you will take a transfer with your tour guide to these phenomenal temples. The temples of Abu Simbel are considered among the most celebrated achievements of ancient Egypt. The two temples were cut in the cliffs about 310 Km south of Aswan. The Great Temple was built for Ramses II (1279-1213 BC), while the Small Temple was built for his beloved wife, Queen Nefertari.
Because of the rising water of Aswan High Dam, the temples had to be saved and rescued in a magnificent world rescue operation of temples in Lower Nubia. Then, transfer back from Abu Simbel to Aswan Airport to fly back to Cairo. Transfer from Cairo Airport to your hotel for the final night of your 4-day Egypt tour of Cairo & Aswan.

Tipping is not included in our tour packages and is left entirely to your discretion. While it is not mandatory, it is greatly appreciated by the people who assist you during your journey.

No. A traditional Nile cruise (Luxor to Aswan) requires a minimum of 3-4 nights on the river itself. A 4-day total trip length only allows for land-based touring. You can, however, take a short felucca ride in Luxor as a taste of the Nile.
