Visit in a full day the very famous Petra ruins. Petra or the Rose City is famous for its distinctive red sandstone. This remarkable city of temples and houses was carved out of sheer rock some 2,000 years ago by a nomadic people called the Nabataeans. From this stone stronghold, they were able to control the ancient trade routes of Arabia, establishing a kingdom that became known for its exquisite architecture and refined culture. So, you will take a transfer to Cairo Airport to fly to Luxor to start your 4-night Nile River cruise from Luxor to Aswan. Meet your guide just outside the arrival terminal at Luxor Airport to commence your tour. Explore the largest temple in the world, the Temple of Karnak, and the majestic Temple of Luxor. Both temples were dedicated to the Theban Triad of Amun, Mut, and Khonsu.
