Today you will learn about the history of the pyramids, how they were constructed, and why they were constructed. Then on to the first pyramid in history, the Step Pyramid of King Djoser at Saqqara.

Day 3Egyptian Museum, Saladin Citadel and Khan El-Khalili

Explore the fantastic contents of the historical Egyptian Museum at Tahrir Square in Cairo. Hundreds of objects from all periods of Egypt’s past are displayed on the two floors of the museum.
From the museum to the Citadel of the Sunni Muslim leader Saladin, which was built in 1172 to protect Cairo against the Crusaders. The White Mosque of Mohammed Ali Pasha is a prominent feature of the citadel.

You will finish your tour today at the historical bazaar of Khan El-Khalili, the largest bazaar in the Middle East. Transfer back to your hotel in Cairo.

Day 4Fly to Aswan - Aswan Tour - Nile cruise

You’re going to spend your next four days of your Goddess Nut Tour in 7 days from UAE & Arabian Gulf on board a Nile River cruise. So, you will take a transfer to Cairo Airport to fly to Aswan to begin your 3-night Nile River cruise from Aswan to Luxor.

Meet your guide just outside the arrival terminal at Aswan Airport to commence your tour. Your first stop will be at the High Dam, a dam built in the 1960s, to generate hydroelectricity and to stop floods. Then proceed to explore the Temple of Philae, which was built primarily during the Ptolemaic period and is one of the most incredible temples in Egypt. It was due to the construction of the two dams in Aswan that UNESCO had to relocate the temple. End your journey at the granite quarry of the Unfinished Obelisk

Transfer to your Nile cruise ship. Overnight in Aswan.

Optional tour: Tour to the Nubian Village in Aswan

Day 5Aswan - Kom Ombo Temple

Enjoy a free morning on board your cruise ship or join us on an optional tour to the phenomenal temples of Abu Simbel.

Your Nile cruise ship will set sail down to Kom Ombo around the lunchtime. Disembark at Kom Ombo to visit the Twin Temple of Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon god. This temple was built during the Greco-Roman period. It was built over the ruined temple of the New Kingdom. The temple began during the time of Ptolemy V and was completed by the time of Emperor Tiberius. The emperors Domitian, Caracalla, and others added to the temple. So it took about 400 years to finish.

At the end of your tour, you will have a short visit to the Crocodile Museum then the ship will proceed down to Edfu, where it will dock. Overnight in Edfu.

Day 6Edfu - Esna - Luxor

After/before breakfast, you will take a horse-drawn carriage to visit Edfu’s Temple of Horus. This temple was built during the Greco-Roman era and is the most intact temple in Egypt. The Temple of Edfu is fully inscribed with reliefs and hieroglyphs on its exterior and interior walls.

Take your carriage back to your cruise ship to set sail from Edfu to Luxor via the Lock of Esna. Once you reach Luxor, you will have the chance to explore the largest temple in Egypt, the Temple of Karnak, which was built by several pharaohs. Then, proceed to the majestic Temple of Luxor, which is connected to Karnak by the ceremonial avenue of the Sphinxes which was recently restored. These two temples were dedicated to Amun, Mut, and Khonsu, the Theban Triad.

Enjoy your last night of your Goddess Nut Tour in 7 days from UAE & Arabian Gulf in Luxor.

Day 7End of your Goddess Nut Tour in 7 days from UAE & Arabian Gulf

Disembarkation. Visit the magnificent tombs of the Valley of the Kings. The pharaohs during the New Kingdom ceased building pyramids and cut their tombs deep into the mountain trying to hide them from grave robbers. There are 65 tombs in the Valley of the Kings, your guide will recommend the best 3 tombs of the ones open to visit.
From the glorious Valley of the Kings to the unique Temple of the female pharaoh Hatshepsut who served as solo pharaoh for about 20 years. Continue your trip to the giant Colossi of Memnon which survives from the Temple of pharaoh Amenhotep III.

You will end your Goddess Nut Tour in 7 days from UAE & Arabian Gulf with transfer to Luxor Airport for final departure. It is really sad to leave, so ask our guides about your next adventure in Egypt.
