Today, you will visit the Giza Plateau. Today’s tour includes the Great Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure with the great Sphinx. The only ancient wonder which still remains (Khufu’s pyramid) awaits you. Are you ready to discover it from the inside?
Today you will learn about the history of the pyramids, how they were constructed, and why they were constructed. Then on to the first pyramid in history, the Step Pyramid of King Djoser at Saqqara.
Transfer back to your hotel.
Explore the fantastic contents of the historical Egyptian Museum at Tahrir Square in Cairo. Hundreds of objects from all periods of Egypt’s past are displayed on the two floors of the museum.
From the museum to the Citadel of the Sunni Muslim leader Saladin, which was built in 1172 to defend Cairo against the Crusaders. The White Mosque of Mohammed Ali Pasha is a prominent feature of the Citadel.
You will finish your tour at the historical bazaar of Khan El-Khalili, the largest bazaar in the Middle East.
Breakfast at the hotel then transfer to Cairo Airport to fly to Abu Simbel to begin your 3-night solo Lake Nasser cruise from Abu Simbel to Aswan.
Arrival at Abu Simbel airport. Meet and assist by our representative. Transfer to your cruise. Have lunch on board. Visit the phenomenal Temples of Ramses and Nefertari at Abu Simbel.
Overnight in Abu Simbel.
The cruise ship will set sail from Abu Simbel to Qasr Ebrim, which you will view from the top deck. Then set sail to Amada to overnight there.
Today at Amada, you will visit the Temple of Amada, and the Tomb of the Viceroy of Nubia, Pennut.
Then the cruise will set sail to Wadi Es-Soeboua. Here you are visiting the Temple of Wadi Es-Soboua, the Temple of Dakka, and the Temple of Maharaqa.
Then set sail to Aswan for an overnight.
Disembarkation. Visit the New Kalabsha area which includes the Temple of Kalabsha, the Temple of Beit Al-Wali, and the Kiosk of Kertassi.
Transfer to your Nile cruise to begin your 3-night solo Dahabiya Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor. After Lunch, you will visit the beautiful Temple of Philae. Set sail to Kom Ombo.
Visit the twin Temple of Horus and Sobek together with the Crocodile Museum at Kom Ombo. Then the Dahabiya cruise sets sail to Edfu to overnight there. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner are served on board.
Take a Horse and Carriage to visit the most intact temple in Egypt, the Temple of Horus in Edfu. Set sail to the lock of Esna. Go through the lock and continue sailing to Luxor to overnight there. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served on board.
Disembarkation. Visit the magnificent Valley of the Kings, the unique Hatshepsut Temple, and the Colossi of Memnon on the west bank of Luxor.
Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant then proceed to visit the Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple.
Transfer to Luxor Airport to fly back to Cairo. Transfer from Cairo Airport to your hotel.
