Today you will learn about the history of the pyramids, how they were constructed, and why they were constructed. Then on to the first pyramid in history, the Step Pyramid of King Djoser at Saqqara.

Transfer to Cairo Airport to fly to Luxor to begin your 4-night solo Dahabiya Nile Cruise from Luxor to Aswan. Meet your guide just outside the arrival terminal to commence your tour.
Explore the largest temple in the world, the Temple of Karnak, and the majestic Temple of Luxor. Both temples were dedicated to the Theban Triad of Amun, Mut, and Khonsu.
Transfer to your Dahabiya cruise to check into your room. Enjoy your lunch and dinner on board. Overnight is in Luxor.

You will wake up on the voices of the horsemen who are waiting to take you to the Temple of Horus in Edfu. This temple is the most intact temple in Egypt and was built during the Greco-Roman period.
After visiting the temple in Edfu, the Dahabiya will sail up to Kom Ombo to visit the twin Temple of Sobek, the Crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon god. Then proceed to the Crocodile Museum in the vicinity of the temple.
After visiting the Temple of Kom Ombo, the Dahabiya will sail up to Aswan where it moors for the next two days.
