Day 1 Arrival in Cairo, Egypt

Arrival at Cairo International Airport. Meet and assist by our representative of “Egypt Best Vacations” who will help you through the arrival and visa regulations. Transfer to your hotel for free time.

Day 2Giza Great Pyramids, Sphinx and Saqqara

Your actual Egypt 10-day holiday (Cairo & 7 nights Dahabiya cruise) just starts right now.

Today, you will visit the Giza Plateau. Today’s tour includes the Great Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure with the great Sphinx. The only ancient wonder which still remains (Khufu’s pyramid) awaits you. Are you ready to discover it from the inside?
Today you will learn about the history of the pyramids, how they were constructed, and why they were constructed. Then on to the first pyramid in history, the Step Pyramid of King Djoser at Saqqara.
Transfer back to your hotel.

Day 3Egyptian Museum, Saladin Citadel and Khan El-Khalili

Explore the fantastic contents of the historical Egyptian Museum at Tahrir Square in Cairo. Hundreds of objects from all periods of Egypt’s past are displayed on the two floors of the museum.
From the museum to the Citadel of the Sunni Muslim leader Saladin, which was built in 1172 to defend Cairo against the Crusaders. The White Mosque of Mohammed Ali Pasha is a prominent feature of the Citadel.
You will finish your tour at the historical bazaar of Khan El-Khalili, the largest bazaar in the Middle East. 

Transfer to Cairo Airport to Fly to Luxor to begin your 7-night Dahabiya Nile cruise. Transfer from Luxor Airport to your Dahabiya cruise.

Day 4Kings Valley, Hatshepsut Temple and Colossi of Memnon

Enjoy your breakfast on board your Dahabiya then visit the impressive Valley of the Kings, the unique Temple of the female pharaoh Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon on the West Bank of Luxor. 

Back to your Dahabiya Nile cruise to set sail to Esna. Enjoy your lunch and dinner while sailing. Overnight is in Esna.

Day 5Edfu & Kom Ombo Temples

You will wake up on the voices of the horsemen who are waiting to take you to the Temple of Horus in Edfu. This temple is the most intact temple in Egypt and was built during the Greco-Roman period. After visiting the temple, the Dahabiya cruise will sail up to Kom Ombo to visit the twin Temple of Sobek, the Crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon god. Then proceed to the Crocodile Museum in the vicinity of the temple. After the tour, the Dahabiya will sail up to Aswan where it moors for the next two days.

Day 6Aswan Tour

Explore the highlights of the beautiful City of Aswan such as the High Dam, the beautiful Temple of Isis at Philae Island, and the granite quarry of the Unfinished Obelisk.

Day 7Free day in Aswan

Today, the Dahabiya moors in Aswan, so you are able to visit the phenomenal Temples of Abu Simbel (optional trip), or take a walk in Aswan or relax onboard.

Day 8Kom Ombo - Edfu - Luxor

The Dahabiya sets sail back to Kom Ombo, stopping to visit Kom Ombo Temple (new arrival guests). You have a free day onboard to enjoy cruising.
The Dahabiya sets sail from Kom Ombo down to Edfu, stopping there for new guests to visit the Temple of Edfu. Then set sail down to Luxor via the lock of Esna.

Day 9Karnak & Luxor Temples

Today, you are visiting the largest temple in the world, Karnak Temple, and the majestic Luxor Temple. Both were dedicated to the Theban Triad of Amun, Mut, and Khonsu.
Back on board for free time.

Day 10Fly home
